The product is nice on its own. However, the lids were damaged during transportation and the oil leaked everywhere.

Delicious stuff, although very oily.

My new favourite dish is simply boiled rice with a spoonful of Lao Gan Ma mixed through. It has a spicy, smokey, sort of funky taste. The Wife doesn't like it, but she has defective taste buds... Apparently it is good with *everything*, even as an ice cream topping though I have yet to try that.

Very tasty and adds a little fiery kick to anything, often use this to stir into rice or spread into a sandwich, found myself spooning it into a late night kebab

The product shows the name Laogama but the product sent to me has no mentions of laogama , which I think can be deceiving or counterfeit or doing business on the name of laogama.

I love Laoganma, I use it in everything! It's not spicy, it just has a little kick so it's safe for people who don't eat hot sauce. It's one of the best Chinese-kept secrets, you have to try it. This is not a hot sauce, it's flavor enhancer chili oil so treated as such. You can add it to sandwiches, dips, soups, noodles, pasta whatever you desire as long as it is savory and NOT sweet. Add a spoon or two to your ramen or rice dishes and take it to the next level. The peanuts will give you that extra crunch as well. I hope Amazon keeps it in stock more often
