Fresh Cab Botanical Rodent Repellent - Environmentally Friendly, Keeps Mice Out, 12 Scent Pouches

Very effective to discourage mice... very strong scent however.... a little overwhelming inside camper-- but no mice!!

I have been using Fresh Cab for several years to keep mice out of my RV and my garage. I park my RV in a storage place and have heard other people have had problems with mice. I have a 33’ fifth wheel, and put one pouch in the bedroom, one in the kitchen, one in the bathroom, and one in the living room. I’ve never had any sign of mice, and the RV is stored all winter from October until March. I also use it in my garage and just put one in each spot that I’ve ever seen mice. The accent is non-offensive—actually smells pretty good!

Gotcha with the title didn't I! "It works!" I've used these to keep mice from nesting in the cabin filter of my Corvette for years and they've worked flawlessly. One goes in the engine compartment right next to the cabin filter port and two in the cabin, one on the passenger side in front of the seat and the second on the left side of drivers seat. I replace them all every six months. "It doesn't!" Recently we started to see mice droppings in two of the kitchen cabinets, so naturally, I put one Fresh Cab packet in each cabinet. Vaccumed all of the droppings and found more a couple of days later so I put a mouse trap right next to each Fresh Cab packet. In less than a half an hour the traps had caught two mice. One more an hour later and two more a few days later. Sooooo . . . . in my experience the Fresh Cab packets work and they don't! It just depends where they are placed, so I will continue to use them in all of my cars but not in the house. Lastly, they are expensive but if the Fresh Cab packets prevent mice from chewing on the wiring in my vehicles then I'll use them there, whatever the cost. Fact: A number of years ago the "tree huggers" convinced the auto makers to stop using plastic for wire insulation, so the auto-makers switched to soy-based insulation . . . and the mice love the stuff! Problem is that, on occasion, electrical shorts occur in the wire harnesses where the wires are tied together tightly. In some cases the fire in the vehicle spreads to the house, (assuming that the vehicle is garaged). The mice infestation occurs most often in cars that are driven occasionally . . . like my Corvette. Magic! Poof! Mouse disappeared...immediately! Wow! Strong smell at first, I put out three behind the stove. Not an unpleasant smell. Sort of like a cedar closet. It has lessened a lot in a few days. I found it smelled like a clean air freshener. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Works very well and smells pleasant. No more mice in my pick-up. Worth the price. The mice got in my nice Chevy farm truck ….errr….well that was $1,200 clean up by the Auto Body Shop. With this product no more rodents! A VERY AFFORDABLE solution. Highly recommend it, unless of course you like mice in your vehicle.

I placed these in my garage and storage shed. They appear to work. When the fragrance decreases though, I’ve noticed in my garage that mighty mouse returns. So, these work for a time but they need to be replaced periodically – the alert for that need.

Somewhat disappointed. We live in the country so field mice in the house is a given. It may have somewhat lessened them but they are still coming in. And I followed all instructions. I so wanted this to fully work. 😔
