The product is really good, and its design is unique in the market. The quality is excellent. I did face an issue, but the support team went above and beyond to resolve it.

I had high hopes for this docking station, but unfortunately, it didn’t meet the demands of a more professional or creative setup. I connected an external sound card, a 32" monitor, and a couple of MIDI controllers — and the whole system started to struggle. The dock caused my computer to randomly reset, the monitor's refresh rate and resolution dropped below acceptable levels, and USB connections became unreliable. It simply couldn’t handle the bandwidth or power required for this kind of gear. This might work fine for basic office use — connecting a keyboard, mouse, and maybe a small second display — but if you’re a musician, designer, or anyone running demanding peripherals, this isn’t the dock for you. Disappointing, especially for the price.

Smaller than I thought, Great build quality but you’d expect that for the price, it’s just plug in and play really, it has made access to my 2 x20tb hdd’s quicker and easier and as a bonus I can dispense with the laptop charger 🔌 ! The display is ok but I would say it’s more of a gimmick than anything else. And yeah there’s cheaper docks but you’d be hard pushed to find better quality than Anker .

I really like this Anker Prime 14-in-1 Docking Station. It’s compact, stylish, and doesn’t take up much space, which is great for my setup. The display screen is a nice touch, showing power distribution and connected devices at a glance. It also has plenty of ports, and some can even charge at 100W, which is handy for powering my laptop and other devices. You can also set custom power distribution for your charging devices, but you need to download the Dock Manager software to do this. It’s a useful feature, but it would have been nice if it could be adjusted directly from the dock itself. The biggest downside is that the HDMI ports are only HDMI 2.0. That means a max refresh rate of 144Hz, which is disappointing since my monitors support 180Hz. It would have been great to have HDMI 2.1 or at least some DisplayPort connections. It does support dual 4K at 60Hz, but keep in mind that your laptop needs DP 1.4 with DSC 1:3 for that. If you’re on Mac, it’ll only do dual 4K at 30Hz. Overall, I’m happy with it, but since this is one of Anker’s newer docking stations, I would have expected more up-to-date display connections. If it had HDMI 2.1 or DisplayPort, it would be perfect!

I like Anker products usually but this really fell short - It's not display link so it can only do 1 HDMI output on an M1 Max Macbook, it's deceptive as most of the ports on the front are for charging. The display is nice but I found that the HDMI often lost contact with the mac and drives sometimes. As other people have said, doesn't actually appear to be build for power users, I'm a video editor and sometimes running several drives off the ports and it doesn't seem up to it and don't gain as many useable ports as you'd assume from looking at it.
