I buy this every year for my father-in-law's birthday as it's the only whisky he drinks. He has a little every night and always offers us some when we go round. I've never liked whisky and I'm not much of a drinker but this whisky would convert anyone!This whisky is so smooth, it tastes peaty and not acidic at all. There's a nice mild finish too.The box is gorgeous so it makes for a really nice gift. The price of this bottle was brilliant at £31 so it seems like a much more expensive and lavish gift. I would definitely recommend!

Well worth buying when on offer, better than the non aged talisker.

This was my first time trying Talisker 10, and at £29, it’s excellent value. Smooth, slightly smoky, with a nice depth of flavor. A great introduction to peated whisky—definitely worth it at that price point.

On Black Friday I bought this on special. Have tasted this in the past. Lite peaty and smooth drop when mixed with a dash of water or cube of ice. Waiting for next special to buy few more. :):)

Verstehe hier einige Rezensionen nicht. Manche schreiben, er sei sehr rauchig und das gefallen ihnen.Also.... ich trinke seit einigen Jahren whisky und preislich setze ich mir kaum Grenzen. Für mich zählt natürlich auch preis Leistung, aber wenn ein guter Tropfen mal 200 kostet, so bin ich auch bereit, die auszugeben.An sich sind Rauchige nicht so mein Ding. Allerdings versuche ich meine Sammlung ständig auszugleichen oder zu erweitern. Daher hatte ich von einem Bekannten auch den talisker 10 zur Probe. Er hat echt wenig rauchige und überhaupt nicht übertrieben. Er passt sogar irgendwie zu der vorhandenen süße. Klar merkt man ein Stück weit sein alter, aber alles völlig im Rahmen. Wenn man bedenkt das ich ihn für 31 Euro bekommen habe, ist das echt genial und ich kann ihn nur empfehlen.Ich dachte mir, wenn er schon so gut ist, dann muss der 18ner noch besser sein. Der kostet inzwischen so um die 190euro. Habe ihn aber noch für 150 bekommen......klar alles ist Geschmackssache und auch nur das gebe ich hier wieder....aber der 18ner hat mich enttäuscht. Ein wenig sanfter und ein stärkeren schilli.......aber das ist im groben auch schon alles. Da bekommt man für das Geld schon besseres.Habe auch andere von Talisker probiert, aber preis leistungs Sieger ist in meinen Augen eindeutig der talisker 10.Kauf euch den und belassen es dabei könnt ihr nicht mit falsch machen (ausgenommen ihr wollt whisky mixen oder auf Eis legen......das geht garnicht).

Debo decir que soy un neófito en esto del whisky, hasta hace poco mi poder adquisitivo solo me permitía comprar una botella al año, básicamente como autoregalo en Navidad, por lo que siempre iba a tiro seguro, black label o dyc 15 son eran mis favoritos. Ahora que me puedo permitir hacerme el regalo algo más amenudo me atreví a comprar esta botella, talisker y lagavulin siempre me han atraído pero los veía desde la barrera y no me atrevía por el miedo a equivocarme y perder el dinero, ya me pasó con un glenrothes de barrica de brandy que no me gustó nada. Bien, yo bebo el whisky solo, sin hielo y a temperatura ambiente, me gusta disfrutarlo despacio, a pequeños sorbos, por lo que es necesario un sabor algo intenso y duradero, los JB o ballantines se desvanecen al segundo, pues este talisker cumple, para mí neófito como soy, de forma sorprendente. No me esperaba ese punch inicial a madera que me encanta, ese toque como a sal que lo acompaña y el sabor afrutado y dulce quizás que deja siempre con la madera como predominante. Sinceramente para mí, un iniciado, el mejor whisky que he probado hasta ahora. Espero que os sirva de algo mi humilde opinión.

Ha un piacevole aroma affumicato e torbato, con note marine e un finale speziato al pepe.Il gusto è deciso ma ben equilibrato, ideale da sorseggiare liscio dopo cena.L’astuccio lo rende perfetto anche come idea regalo.Consigliato agli amanti dei whisky dal carattere forte.

Pour les amateurs de whisky qui aiment avoir un goût puissant en bouche, je vous le recommande sans hésiter !
