Does anyone have trouble with the motor/transmitter/receiver? It does not seem to spin the wheels and our builds move nowhere.

Hello - sometimes this issue comes from not completely 'pushing' the wheels into the chassis. We can't post the link here but on the GeoSmartUSA YouTube channel there is a video called 'GeoSmart FAQs - Mars Explorer and Moon Lander Not Moving' that shows this process. Does the moon lander come with a remote control? Does this set have multiple configurations?

Yes it comes with a transmitter and receiver. There are 3 builds in the instructions.

are the compatible with magformers?

I was told that they are not compatible with magformers. The magformers are more expensive than the GeoSmart, but if I had to do again, I would buy the Magformers. it seemed that they had more pieces and things you could do, but you need to check that out for yourself!

Is this compatable with magnifirmers?

I do not know what magnifirmers are, if you mean the plastic squares and triangles that stick together with magnets then yes they are compatible.
