Works great. Worth the money.
This keyboard is great so far. I do find that I tend to bump some keys that are on the edges of the keyboard and get mis-strikes.

This rocks and has a โcassette futurismโ vibe.
I love this keyboard. It is a substantial mechanical keyboard that reminds me of the keyboards we used in the 90s and early 2000s, but in a good way. It looks cool and when I am working at night the lights rock. Love it.

Low profile keyboard that looks great and works great if not for the likelihood of double clicking.
Really love this keyboard and the way it looks. Only issue is that sometimes any key can randomly double click. This was also a fairly common problem after doing some research to the point they did release a Firmware update to increase debounce and prevent double click. The update worked but instead my battery seems to drain a lot faster after the firmware update.

Just what I was looking for
I am very particular about the feel, sound, look, and quality of a keyboard. It took me forever to find the one that fit everything that I was looking for. I tried probably 10 keyboards, and they were either too loud, the keycaps were too tall, or something felt off when I used them. I have a SteelSeries for gaming, but I really needed something for in the office, since I type a lot; I also needed something suitable for productivty. I used an MX Keys for the longest time, which is an excellent keyboard, but I hated how slick the keycaps were, and I really wanted a mechanical board. This keyboard is the one, the keycaps are the perfect height, not too tall if you're coming from a MX Keys or equivalent, and the brown switches are a dream to type on. If you're like me, you want something that is satisfying to type on, but is not going to annoy anyone around you, as Blue switches might. Browns are not silent, but they are not loud enough to distract or annoy anyone. If you do get this keyboard, make sure you get the hotswappable version, so you can swap out the switches in the future if you want, or need to replace a switch that goes bad. I use this in the office, so I cannot comment on the backlighting or how this holds up with gaming. For 8 hours a day, in the office, it is perfect. TLDR: if you have been searching for a really good quality keyboard, prefer low-profile over normal, then the K5 Max is for you.

Ghost in the machine
I like an old-school mechanical keyboard, so thought I'd try this on my iMac desktop. It has the right look and feel, and was relatively easy to set up. Including Mac-specific key caps was a nice touch. I was attracted by the promise of programmable keys for creating shortcuts and customizing for either Mac or Windows. There's an online utility for customizing, but after adding some additional function key maps, the problems started. It developed strange glitches like unexpected behavior, unwanted search windows popping up, some keys refusing to function, and other weirdness. The key programmer is frustratingly non-intuitive, and there is no help utility to explain what most of the functions do. Finally forced me back to the original Apple chiclet keyboard. I retired the Keychron to a drawer, but oddly, there's not even a power switch to turn the thing off!

Speedy fingers with this keyboard
If you love the clickety-clack keyboard sound, this is for you! I also like the feel when it springs back up and makes me type faster. It's heavier than the typical keyboard but I like that and the fact that the underside is a bit exposed and easier to clean and dust. I also like that you can reset the F function keys to default to volume and playback functions. I'm happy with this one!

Perfection
I would go on and on, but I can save you some time. This is the best affordable mechanical keyboard I've ever purchased. I've had it for over a month, and I still haven't had to recharge it. The noise level is exactly what I wanted, and the keyboard functionality is simple and perfect.

Worthy upgrade to the normal K5
This is a huge upgrade over the normal K5. It takes a minute to get used to the keycaps being a little bigger but once you do the typing experience is elevated. The addition of 2.4ghz connectivity is a game changer for those that have their computers under their desk and with desks that block bluetooth signals.

Superb, Sexi, pleasant keyboard
Superb keyboard. Upgraded from logi mx keys and despite initial worries about thickness.... I love it so much. Running linux no problem at all, plenty of adapters, spares etc. Appearance is so sexi, connected with usb dongle performs well.

Great Keyboard but some issues.
I have updated my review to be 5 stars. Purely due to the customer support i have received with this product and not for the product itself.

Nice one, but buy the hotswappable one
The keyboard is great - if you like that it is taller than the most flat keyboards. The E key started to repeat after several months usage. If you have the non-soldered version, you can fix it easily.
