Mice ate the hose on my Ryobi pressure washer and a repair kit came with a union and regular hose clamps. Well those clamps are well known to be useless with some kinds of hose under high pressure but these clamps exert even pressure around the circumference and make a good seal. The only reason to use regular clamps on anything is because you have to remove it periodically - everything else works better with this style clamp.

These are good quality clamps. They were easy to crimp with the appropriate crimping tool and they hold their shape after being crimped. I needed small clamps to secure oil lines to fittings on an engine, and these fit the bill perfectly. Very affordable as well.

This is a great set to have arround for quick repairs and non-critical applications. For professional use, or critical applications, I recommend buying name brand clamps. These clamps are not perfectly round and could result in leaks in some tubing materials. The band material is thinner, which is to be expected, but not so thin I'm concerned they will break.

I purchased to replace the hand-ripping hose clamps on my garden hose ends. Worked great, look good, no potential to cut hands.

Finally got to fix 5/8” garden water hose today. With the multiple sizes was able to easily find the right size. After crimping close no leaks under pressure.

The steel is thinner gauge than OEM BMW clamps and will not hold tightly. Used on a HP oil line and leaked within two days.
