This Whelping Box is my 3rd. I’ve had 3 litters at the same time in the past and wanna be prepared. It’s made of plastic & easy to clean. Simple & Easy to put together, all the panels slide into the corner posts. It is large enough for the damn and her puppies. This Whelping Pen will keep the puppies safe. In about 3-5 weeks they outgrow it making it easy for them to climb out. When this products arrives, it’s a good idea to open the box carefully & KEEP it. When your pups outgrow the pen, you can disassemble, clean & put it back in the same box for storage. I’m sure I’ll buy another one down the road. If you’re having even one litter I highly recommend getting this before they arrive.

As a small Yorkie breeder with Yorktown Yorkies, I couldn’t be happier with this whelping box. Even though it’s designed for large breeds, the space and build quality make it perfect for giving my Yorkie moms room to relax and safely care for their puppies. The setup was simple, it’s easy to clean, and the safety rails are a great touch — especially for new moms who need a little extra space without risking the pups getting rolled on. The material is sturdy but lightweight enough to move when needed. We’ve used a few other setups over the years, but this one is by far the most reliable and professional-looking. It makes whelping feel organized and stress-free for both mom and breeder. Highly recommend to anyone serious about their breeding program — big or small!

Its a little flimsy, but its definitely worth the price. Very easy to assemble. Height is adjustable as the puppies get bigger. It was plenty big for my Chihuahua and 6 puppies until 6 weeks of age.
