Good filter and does a much better job over stock
Noticeable improvement of airflow and fuel economy stayed the same despite driving slightly uphill for about 6 hours- so it’s definitely helping remove a bit of restriction. Fits perfect, doesn’t smell like oil, and is a quality filter. I’m not really into washing filters so I don’t like permanent units

Best air filter, period.
I originally purchased this for my 2012 Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 l Hemi. After having to recently replaced that vehicle due to a deer running out in front of it and totalling it I enjoyed my Grand Cherokee so much that I moved into a 2017 Grand Cherokee Overland with the 5.7 l Hemi as well. So I took my filter with me because I loved the great improvement of air flow I'm not sacrificing the ability to filter particulate from the air.To my surprise I now own two of these air filters because apparently somebody thought enough of K&N to include one in my newer Overland. Which is perfect since I can now wash and recharge one while using the other.Doing the recharge on these filters is quick and easy save the dry time before you can actually use the recharge oil on it. Best air filter on the market for the money.

Great filter...thank you K $ N!
I waited a while to review this air filter because I was skeptical of all the claims in the reviews. I have had it installed in my Dodge Durango for more than two weeks now and can honestly say it does make a significant difference. I have a mileage calculator in my vehicle. In the 6 years I have owned the vehicle, it rarely averaged above 18.7 mpg in town. Since installing the filter, I have been driving the same route that I always have. I made sure that I drove it long enough that I wasn’t thinking about how I drove. That way I could contribute the improvement in efficiency to the filter and not how I was driving. I am now consistently averaging 19.5 to 19.7 mpg. 1 mpg may not seem like much, but if you drive an SUV or truck, it is significant. It also gives me peace of mind knowing my 130,000 mile engine is running more efficiently and achieving less wear and tear as it gets older. Thank you K & N! Great filter and worth the extra costs

K&N does it again
Great product. Having used K&N in all my cars, I have never had a problem with K&N filters. For those who are considering purchasing this product and have used K&N before,This particular model for the Jeep Grand Cherokee slips right in with no problems. Just whatyou would normally expect.I own a 2011 JGC 3.6L V6. Here are my "driver-seat" findings for those who are new to K&N.I've noticed increased mid-to-high range performance. While passing cars on the highway (70 mph) I'venoticed a smoother and more powerful response. Before K&N the Jeep would need to downshiftto give the desired power, this causes a lag while the transmission shifts andthe subsequent high-RPM rush when it finally downshifts. With K&N I've noticed that the Jeepdoesn't need to downshift to give me the power/speed I want. I don't have to press the pedalas much to achieve significant passing speeds. I don't know how this correlates to gas mileageor actual torque curves but that combined with no more paper air cleaners makes me satisfiedyet again with K&N.I've reset my fuel economy gauge and have noticed maybe 1 MPG change for the better, however thisis likely biased as my driving habits have changed. I've never noticed an enormous difference inMPG with a well-maintained newer car when switching to K&N however that is not a scientific assessment.

One of the first "upgrades" I make to all my cars!
I've been using K&N airfilters for 40+ years now...Street cars, off road cars, stock intakes, CAI aftermarkets, commuter vehicles. All my vehicles for the last 40 years have had K&N filters. And the funny thing is that I'm only on my second clean/oil kit! And that's barely used. So of course, when I purchased my used 2012 Overland Grand Cherokee with the 5.7L Hemi, I had to get ah K&N. I want this vehicle to be stock, so I got the filter to fit the stock airbox. Now I'm good for a few years without having to worry about my airfilter...take *THAT* Jiffy Lube! Trying to charge me $50 for a paper sub-standard airfilter...I got a K&N for basically the same price!
