Bite the bullet. This is what u need ford owners
Minimal mechanical skills and a torque wrench to install. If you have a Ford with the original intake, for your own sake, replace it with the updated one. Fords initial design is ridiculous. This doesn’t eliminate poor engineering but it does correct the gasket to rubber to plastic to gasket to head problem.

It did fit my car . Neither bracket worked. Had to cut my old one to make it fit properly.
Worth it , just have to fabricated the top bracket , because neither fit for the top of the intake .

Slightly off in size
I've had this installed 2 years, I haven't had major issues. The only complaint I have is the spark plug access holes are slightly covered but still workable

Order anyone else's manifold.
This manifold is is made in at least 2 parts and then a seam runs down the middle. Mine came out of the box with a manufacturing defect where the upper part and the lower part are not quite joined/sealed (see pictures). This will cause a huge vacuum and or coolant leak as the gap runs half way around the entire part (the other side on mine is joined) This defect makes it worthless as an intake manifold. You can easily blow air into the gap and it comes out the runners confirming the leak is large and directly to atmosphere, so it is not just cosmetic. In addition, this defect could dump the coolant directly into the intake runner hydrolocking and destroying the engine if that happened while running.Luckily, I inspect parts before I install them so I caught this before I wasted the labor or hydrolocked/trashed my engine. To make this even worse, when I discovered the defect/problem, I contacted the company to get a replacement and they told me the part I purchased didn't come with a warranty, so there was nothing they could do. A total waste of money amd time with the car down. Save yourself some time, money, and aggravation and buy from another (any other) manufacturer.

2003 Lincoln Towncar intake replacement.
I purchased this intake based off of Amazon reviews. First off like mentioned there are no included instructions. I’d advise looking at YouTube videos if you are mechanically inclined. With that being said the intake fixed my issue.PROS: no seperate gaskets needed in the surface between the head and intake (gaskets built into intake)Cheaper than a OEM ford unit by a good bitIncludes everything neededCONS: The bolt holes for the coils aren’t tapped so you need to use the supplied screws which have a coarser thread. Easy since it’s just plasticThe area between the ports are open so if you drop something it can fallcbetween the intake which can be a hassle. All in all I’m pleased and would purchase again if needed.

Good intake, Bad thermostat
Ok the intake bolted on no problem, after installing and starting vehicle I noticed the car overheating. I spent countless time going back over everything just to find that the brand new thermostat was stuck closed. Could have easily blown a head gasket over this simple problem. I give this intake a 3 star not because of the intake quality, it’s actually a good intake overall, but because of the thermostat quality and causing overheating problems. I give the intake itself for what it is, a low price aftermarket intake a 5 star rating.

works good
They had to take a lot off to get to it but it works better than the plastic version that came on the Lincoln
