Very tasty, but doesn't make me feel like I had an alcoholic drink. We have re-ordered this a number of times.

Great product, great delivery

This product is my absolute favorite "functional" alcohol substitute thus far. Caveats: it will not leave you feeling "buzzed," even if you slam 4 of the cans in an hour or so, but the subtle feeling of calm and relaxation is palpable, pleasant and worthwhile, especially as an athlete who cannot afford the metabolic cost of alcohol consumption. Granted how much I like it, there is BIG room for improvement IMO, and it looks like this. #1. It's expensive. Almost 4 bucks a can, a stick pack version would be welcome at $2/per, as I will easily go through 2 of these a day during the evening while fasting to help offset the sensations of food deprivation, for which this product is very useful. #2. Speaking of fasting, the 30 cals/can is really silly when the sucrose used to sweeten it (it's not even sweet) could be easily replaced by stevia. As it stands, this is how I prepare it -- a can in a shaker bottle with a good dash of stevia. So, the added sugar does nothing good IMO, and should be replaced with stevia, monkfruit, or whatever else. #3. Salt. Adding a dash of salt to this completes it, from both a health and taste perspective, along with the stevia. Salt assists with the utilization of the actives in the CNS tissue, helps to replenish electrolytes (esp. important in active populations), and makes it taste much better. #4. Something could be done to make the relaxing effect stronger without worry of too many unpleasant side effects. I'm not sure what that looks like, whether it would be adding kanna, kava, or something else, but that itself would make this an A+ product. That is all, no doubt I will continue to use, as I feel it helps me to relax, sleep better, focus in the evenings, and be there when food cravings hit during fasts.

These are disgusting. They really don’t have a “taste “ they taste plan no flavor, no nothing. I tried all of them because I wanted to like them. But, every last flavor tastes the same honestly just with a different label.

I was really curious to try Hiyo because of all the claims around relaxation and mood-boosting effects. It’s marketed as a “social tonic” with adaptogens and nootropics that are supposed to help reduce stress, improve mood, and create a light, relaxed feeling called “the float.” The flavors are actually pretty good, light, refreshing, and easy to drink. It’s also a nice option if you’re trying to avoid alcohol. However, I personally didn’t feel any of the effects they advertise. No noticeable relaxation, mood boost, or “float” feeling at all. It basically felt like drinking a flavored sparkling water. Overall, it’s a good-tasting product and a decent alcohol alternative, but if you’re buying it expecting a noticeable effect, you might be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I quit drinking this year and coming from pretty heavy drinkers, this stuff has been a life saver! We’d have anywhere from 2-3 cocktails or glasses of wine a night after our stress sales job we both work at, but we were tired of feeling groggy in the morning! Now we wake up at 5 am ready to workout grog free!! These drinks really take the edge off! They don’t give you any form of altered state but they do give you a nice mellow relaxation that alcohol does minus the drunk feeling. The drinks are really great, every flavor is great and although pricey - are worth it if you are cutting booze out but still want to have SOMETHING in its place!
