So far, so good - works well!
Had this for about three months now. Although mounted once and never moved, it's held up well on some pretty rough roads - you know, the pothole-laden kind. Just remember to tighten the pivot screw down every few weeks (as should be expected) and you will be just fine. Recommend item.

Huge upgrade
This one works so much better than the ones that come with these scanners. I drove gravel roads, and over plenty of speed bumps, and it has never fallen off.

Great Replacement for RAD 480i
Spent a lot of time searching for a replacement mount for my RAD 480i. I’m pleased with the low profile, suction power, and sturdiness when mounted. It’s easy to install and configure. The connection was tight but perfect if you line it up right.
