Decent germination (70%) so far and there are a good number of seeds per packet. I stratified the planted seeds in the refrigerator for a few weeks and they sprouted within a few days of removing them from the cold. A few seedlings lacked vigor and died, but the others are developing the true leaves.

Updated review: After initially seeing around ten percent of the seeds germinate in our trays, I thought the seeds weren't going to have a good germination rate. I had several plants take off ad start to thrive, but most of the cels did nothing. A month after the others germinated, I'm seeing nearly all of the rest emerge, so I have to update the review to let folks know to give them a lot more time. I have been keeping the trays warmed and maintaining a fairly damp seed starting mixing the trays. If you only see a few plants pop up, don't lose hope. they just seem to not be very uniform in germination times. I've never had a month long gap between waves of germination. Usually whole trays will all start popping up within a week or so.

Started these seeds inside about mid spring. Even though I left them in their seedling trays for a 2 week vacation they lived through it. I transplanted outside to the garden (I only seeded 2 plants) Both plants are healthy and growing well. Highly recommend, easy to grow. Just make sure you plant them somewhere you don’t plan to move them. I have researched that they will grow deep roots and could be hard to get rid of, but I don’t plan to ever move them.

Nothing grew from any of these seeds after sown. I had plenty of other items planted in the same areas and well watered but no luck.

Comfrey is known as the bone healer. I will plant these in spring and see what happens. Not expensive and high quality.
