Powerful little card
Great way to upgrade an old or office pc. Won't play the latest and greatest but what it does it does well. Bought for emulating PS3 which it handles great, fallout London, sons of the forest both playable.

No Game Driver Support due to age of the GPU Chip
The actual card is fine, but it is no longer supported by Nvidia, apart from security updates. It seemed to have the 4GB it claimed. I have no idea what this GPU actually is as it seems to be reclaimed 1050 Cores banged onto a circuit board with RAM. The cooler seemed adequate to the task and wasn't noisy. The price is a bit too much for what this is, but the market is a bit weird right now.

Great graphics card
I wasn't expecting a miracle on my older Z230 desktop but it exceeded my expectations! Graphics are great, streaming video playback flawless and no need to upgrade my power supply.

Hook up to dedicated graphics be online install nvidia drivers first
Paired very well with an older hp prodesk g4 had lying around with 16gb ram 7th gen i5. Kiddo is playing Minecraft all the shaders and diablo 2 resurrected without issue. Had to get the pliers out to hack the case due to initially not enough room between the slot and weird power supply but fits in the slot no extra power needed. Needed to use display and install nvidia installer first for drivers but no biggie.

Unexpected experience
It seems to me, I have to bring some kind of apologies to Saplos. Another GC, Maxun GTX 1050, 4GB GDDR5 128-bit, works on my Intel motherboard (PC) in the same way as Saplos's, overloading the CPU (100%). However, on another Asus computer, it works so far normally. Therefore, I have to leave installed Maxun GTX 1050 on the Asus computer, and to use GT 740 โ 4GB DDR5 on the Intel PC, and it works properly for the time being. I think, that I could expect the same sort of behaviour from Saplos GTX 1050 (4GB GDDR5, 128-bit), providing I would initially install it on on the Asus DeskTop. The firs review: The card arrived unexpectedly promptly. A box and bag with the card were not sealed. My PC is from 2014, has Intel motherboard and 4-core processor, 16 Gb of RAM, SSD, PCIe โ 16 slot, and Debian13 OS. Inserted the card without any problem, connected DP to a monitor. Started the Desk Top, after login into the system, computer became very slow, the mouse โ almost unresponsive, it was hard, practically impossible, to type any command in CLI, or to open desired App. Hardly Managed to open an App. - System Monitor: the usage of CPU was 100%!!, RAM โ 1.7G. So, instead of GPU on the card, GTX 1050 engaged CPU rendering the PC almost unusable! Nothing was helpful, updating and upgrading did not work. Everything was the same until I removed the GTX 1050 Card from the Desk Top. I have asked for the refund, and will try to find another product.
