Is there a seal or o ring for the shut off valve?

I just contacted the company. They refused to address my issue with a leak out of the side of the filter caused by a growing pin hole. They just refer me back to Amazon.

Is the 300 filter the same as the 300-HSD filter?

I do remember that model but cannot find it @ everpure.com. I buy the 300 and it's fine. I did find the 300 replaced the 200 and it may have replaced the HSD as well, but I would have no trepidation about purchasing it.

Is it the same as h-300 nxt?

This is not the same as the H-300-NXT the item number for the H-300-NXT is EV927441.

Where is red strip to check usage

Yes, each Everpure H-300 Filter Replacement Cartridge comes with a red strip to tell you when to change the Cartridge. You press the bubble on the red strip to release the liquid and paste the strip somewhere under the sink where you can see it. When the strip is completely red it is time to change the Cartridge.
