Fine tooth plastic combs grip and pull beard hair out. Fine tooth combs work best for wild beard. This metal comb doesn't pull out my hair. It does provide a very satisfying fine tooth comb experience with no pain or hair getting grabbed. I didn't know that a metal comb would make the difference. It was a learning experience that I appreciate now. Full disclosure, the second less fine tooth comb is used for my long hair cat, Schmeckey the Chongus. It was actually why I got both combs but now I know better.

These combs are so sturdy they helped me comb out a 4 year set of locs with no problem!

I bought these combs mainly as a gift for a birthday. They came exactly as pictured with a really neat wood grain like engraving. Combs pretty well so no complaints there and the metal feels nice in the hand when combing. It also came packaged in a box and individually wrapped. The combs are very lightweight, not heavy at all which is the only reason I took off a star. Personally I prefer a little more weight to the comb, however to each their own. Very good size as well and easily handles well in the palm. Not flimsy at all, despite how light weight it is, and for a two pack I’d say it’s well worth the money. Just wish it was a little heavier is all.

Work as advertised to decrease static electricity. Especially appreciated in the winter.

Great sturdy comb for travel. Clean up is a breeze and I have yet to break a tine while shoving it in my toiletry bag!

Very nice because they are sturdy enough to do the job. I actually bought these to clean my paint brushes, and my daughter-in-law uses them to comb her puppy's hair.

They are combs. Advertisement states “stainless steel” - it’s 100% the reason I bought this product. While these combs are magnetic making them some type of steel; their appearance bears all resemblance to brushed aluminum. Additionally, they have great flexibility - either good or bad - depending solely on preference. I prefer, and when I ordered these thought that was what I was getting, stiffer combs. You know, they’re stainless “steel”. Would have been really cool if they were chrome plated too - you know - “had the look”. Anyway. Metal combs I just received. If they’re really good and change my mind - or if they’re really worse than my stated expectations and first impressions - I’ll come back and provide an update. P.S. Last thought - if you got kiddos don’t let them play / use these alone. Guaranteed to be bent in half.
