After ordering this I was a bit dubious and suspicious of what to expect from reading the reviews but I can honestly say this is my new favourite holiday towel. Yes it’s thin, and yes it’s not your typical towel material, and yes my wife did laugh at me when I opened it, but I tell you now halfway through my holiday, the wife asked me to order one for her. Go for the XL it perfectly covers pool sun loungers and when on the beach you get so much more sand free real estate to lay on. It’s almost big enough to class as a beach blanket! Personally I took a smaller bath towel with me too, so I could really dry off after the pool/sea. Then lay out on this towel. (Especially since this towel folds up so small you barely notice it in your luggage) My wife’s “beach towel” barley covered half a sun lounger, and on the beach was constantly covered in sand, while I laid out in complete comfort. The styling is trendy, and this is exactly what I needed, I will never go on holiday without one and subsequently neither will my wife now I have to order her one.

I bought a few of these towels for our trip when going on vacation earlier this summer, but have also used for several lake days and swimming outings since and I can conclude after multiple uses that these towels are superior to any standard, cotton terry cloth towel out there. They are absorbent, lightweight, and dry quickly. My son especially says it's the best towel he has ever used because he is dry in literal seconds. The material is pretty soft, although admittedly when wet it's a little off putting to me. Again, my son is sold, though. They are still super nice towels all around and the bonus drawstring bag is great for storage, as well. I even used the bag while at a waterpark so I could keep room key & debit card, etc. close and it worked SO well! Kept it around my wrist and it was great. The towels also wash nicely and do not shrink either, further adding to their uniqueness and long list of positives. Definitely worth the money, we're really enjoying them this season.
