This camera is absolutely worth the money. For around $20, it does exactly what I need for indoor security, and the video quality is surprisingly clear for the price. One of the biggest reasons I like it is the affordable cloud storage option. The subscription is cheap, around a few dollars a month, and even cheaper if you buy the yearly plan. For the price, having cloud saving available makes this camera an even better value. The camera quality is great, the night vision works perfectly, and the app features have worked exactly how I expected. Funny enough, the first night I had it set up, it already helped me catch someone sneaking into my bedroom, so it proved its value immediately. Overall, this is a great indoor camera for the price. Easy to use, reliable, clear picture, solid night vision, and affordable cloud storage. I definitely plan on buying more cameras from this company.

I love this camera; it is very easy to install, small, and lightweight. It has excellent resolution, night vision, and person and motion detection. It is a fantastic product for the price.

Probably the very best indoor security camera we have seen! Especially considering the low cost. We use it locally. It is stand-alone. We do not use the cloud. The video quality is excellent. So is the sound. So is the notification of movement or sound. We can specify what hours to send an alert message to us---for example, only report movement or sound at night. Plus, we can zoom in on a particular area if we choose. Finally, here's an app with all the features one would want; and no bugs in the software! This is a great little security camera and accompanying app.

Main purpose of these are to check in on our 2 cats, with the added benefit of monitoring the place in case we forget to lock up. For the money I bought these for (roughly 14-15$ a piece) these are insanely good value. Picture is about as expected, the wide angle is a great feature. The software is genuinely so much better than the more well-known cam brands like Belkin, and doesnt require a subscription to use, its just for cloud storage if you want to save recordings but dont want to use MicroSD cards. Has good detection features and auto-clipping functions, the setup was easy, these are just all around perfect and well worth the money. I bought the first one and liked it so much I immediately got us 2 more! Keep an eye on these especially if they go on sale again. For 15 bucks it’s easily the best security cam you can get

about what you'd expect for a webcam of this price. I was able to connect to it over RTSP using this url: rtsp://user:password@<ip>/stream1 This was possible after enabling the local password. worked mostly well but there were occasional dropped framed when streaming nonstop. It's probably fine if you're just viewing it at times, but if you want to use a NAS or something and watch it 24/7, it'll get a bit hot and I don't think you can expect it to send you a perfect 30 fps, even though it may do that at times. the night vision is pretty solid, given it's this cheap, but it's nothing amazing either. I only tested it indoors and it was totally fine. the mounting hardware is real basic and it's light enough that you can reasonably use command strips or 2 sided adhesive foam to hold it up as long as nobody is yanking on the power cord.

I needed these cameras to set up at my mom’s house so I could keep an eye on her after she had a pretty traumatic fall. The picture is clear, you can set it for person detection only (great if you have a dog or cat) and you can make it detect in only a certain section of the view so it’s not going off if someone is sitting or in bed. You can talk through the camera, there’s a delay but we have that figured out. We still have a few cameras that we can use and they will definitely be put to use! The app is easy to set up and once the camera is set up with WiFi there’s no additional fuss. You can view up to 36 cameras on the app. If you purchase the viewing package you can go back and view previously recorded activity or you cannot subscribe and watch real time only. Would be great for our loved ones and pets or to view outdoor activity such as bird or deer watching.

Very easy to connect and works perfectly for what we needed it for. Great quality video and it looks great in the open but small enough to be hidden. The pricing was also very competitive.

Right out of the box, I love it. User Guide simple, a template if you want to use the anchor and screws that are included, to drill into your wall and hang the camera. Amazon has a adhesive mount ill be ordering after this. Its around $8-10 I believe. The power cord has to be 8 or 9 feet.. idk but LONG. This is great for where I want to place the camera to babysit my Pups. I can easily hide the cord along the window (BIG kitchen window) and reach my extention cord (also purchased from Amazon) with ease. Setup was a breeze. Like not even 5 minutes, maybe 10, becausei like to explore the app. Unbox, admire the cord and read the Quick Start Guide. Download app, follow app instructions, plug camera in, wait for the red and green light on the camera and follow the app. You get a 30 day, NO CARD NEEDED free trial of cloud storage. Video is clear!!! I still have the plastic on and its CLEAR. Sound IS CRISP.. Just speak in a normal tone. But it picks it all up. Zoom... well you wont see a fly on the wall but it works.. its just so much for what I paid.. its kinda, Great. Geofencing so you can set up and forget about it but, alos stop and start monitoring from your phone.. As you can tell im excited.. I can't wait to leave the house and test the settings.. if everything goes great.. hey.. I might outfit my entire house with Tapo cams and tech. ** The photo of the camera view is a close shot (Pups), I was holding the camera in my hands. And THE PLASTIC IS STILL ON THE CAMERA** UPDATE coming soon. I found a fault... the detection. Everything is a person... maybe I have the wrong cam but its says they cam cam distinguish between people and animals. I get a ton of notifications for cars or the tree moving.. i had to turn notifications off. It was too much. **UPDATE** I LOVE THE CAMERAS.. I bought a second cam. But after loosing power not once, not 2ice, but 3 times.. my next order will be for a wireless unit. But.. I will say when the power came back on, both cameras went right back to work. No reconnecting, no resetting, just back to recording and storing.

Only issue some times while reviewing the recording in app you find few seconds of interrupted like cutter off recording ! Not much of deal for me as I use it internally so I know what it missed !

am beyond impressed with this 2-pack! Setup took less than 5 minutes through the Tapo app, and the video quality is razor-sharp. Human & Motion detection is fast and responsive, the night vision is crisp, and having two-way audio is a huge bonus. Having two cameras at this price point gives total peace of mind for monitoring the house. Highly recommend!
