Unit is definitely on the smaller size, but it's perfect for displaying trinkets and the drawers hold a decent amount. I was also honestly surprised at how well everything was labeled and how clear the instructions were; very user-friendly especially if you're building it by yourself in a dorm!! The only problem I came across was that one of the metal pieces wasn't drilled all the way through for the screw hole, but it was a smaller piece towards the top so it didn't affect the structure at all. Overall I recommend buying this if you're looking for something cute but functional, just be aware of the size! (Would also recommend buying different lighting for it though, the led strip does in fact not stay well)

A bit narrower than I thought. But overall serves its purpose. I did read the measurements but it’s hard (for me anyhow) to gauge how it will look before I got it. I like how it fits my CPAP perfectly. However, lying in the bed I found that putting the color light strip on the back was less blinding to my eyes at night. So don’t place the light strip below the top shelf, put it in the back, if you don’t want the light blinding you when you lay down. Also, it’s got a lot of space in the drawers, that’s a plus. My clock however (due to my CPAP- and where I prefer it) I can’t see well. I have it sideways on the second shelf but it’s hard to see the time. I may have to buy a smaller clock. I did art at h my phone holder - goose neck - on the metal bar. That doubles as a CPAP tubing holder. Overall I am pleased with my purchase. Assembly was easy and simple. Took about 30-40 min. The drawer slide in and out easy. Pretty lightweight and easy to move around.Also, if you do put the light strip on somewhere and change your mind, it’s easily removable and will stick again. I just wouldn’t do it more than once. We did it within a few hours after applying it.

The initial shelf I received had some shipping damage on the middle board that sits on top of the main frame portion. I contacted their customer service through the email provided in the instruction booklet and they got back to me in less than 24 hours. After confirming what was wrong and the model, they promptly sent out a replacement - I was not expecting an entire shelf set to be sent out to replace the one board, but it worked out. Their customer service gets an easy 5 stars. Thank you.The shelf, itself, was fairly simple to put together. Using an electric screwdriver with the appropriate bits sped things up considerably. I'd say about 30 minutes, but that included removing the stickers from the pieces. I would definitely recommend a heat gun and a plastic blade of some kind to help get those off. The adhesive is a pain.Based on another review, I put the supplied LED strip on the back of the shelf instead of under it. It would definitely be blinding being next to my bed with the lights facing downward. I have had none of the problems others have had with the strip staying adhered. From my experience, as long as the surface is clean, and you give the strip a firm push after the backing is removed, they stay where you put them. The app for the light (Lotus Lantern) has to reconnect to the light after every opening. It's a little clunky, but it worksThe shelf is very light. The anti-tip fasteners supplied are definitely a necessity if you're using this directly next to your bed.This is my first experience using fabric drawers. They seem to work well enough. I wouldn't personally try to stuff them full, or even near the weight limit that each drawer is rated for. The plastic handles with the small screws that are supplied do not inspire confidence. Not that they're going to fall apart, but support the bottom of the drawer if you pull them out rather than relying on the handle.Overall, the shelf is functional, is easy to put together, very lightweight, and their customer service is great.

By no means is this solid wood, but for what it is, its actually really classy and really good quality. Fits in hard to fit places. Matches well with other wood similar styles. The shelves and the lights are a really nice touch. Big drawers (softer like canvas but hold up well).

"Bookshelf"? This thing can only fit the smallest paperback books on its topmost shelf, god forbid if they're any taller than the length of your hand. This thing is good for knick-knacks and knick-knacks only, its only saving grace being the fabric shelves and extra outlets and charging ports. Oh, by the way, the LED strip does not even remotely stick to the damn thing.Building it was fine until I got to building the shelves part, where it suddenly demands use of the smaller L wrench that has a + shaped tip without any indication. It also wants it used in tight spaces, so you are absolutely going to hurt your wrist twisting and twisting and twisting.Staring at this thing only makes me think of all the uses I had in mind that I ended up not having remotely enough space for in the end. But I guess it got all of the littler things out of the way in a usable display.

This is the perfect night stand for a bedroom. I have 2 for each side of my bed. They weren’t hard to put together at all and are very sturdy.
