Do not buy if you need it for actual light
These bulbs are dumb. They do work as far as come on at dark and go off at sunrise but at night if anyone walks up to the door they just go off completely then you can't even see where you are going. Don't waste your money

Works as advertised.
Works as advertised. Since there is no single point of the sensor, the bulb will react to light from any angle. The yellow light does not attract as many bugs.

Why?
We wanted a bulb that would not be so attractive to bugs. Couldn't sleep one night and noticed the porch light blinked off and a short time later came back on. This continued through the night. As it turns out, 3 of the four lights, do exactly the same thing. Why?? It's maddening. We don't want to go back to the white lights in the summer. The porch light is turned off. The garage lights aren't in our face, so they remain on. The 4th light is behind the garage, and it works perfectly.
