I use these dozen on my dock for deck boxes, locking Seadoos and stuff. They are holding up just fine. I wish the shackles were a little bit wider. Probably is a model with that but finding the right combination of features on Amazon is a pain. But these work.

I do like that they are keyed alike. I have 4 doors on my shed and didn't want to mess with a bunch of keys. Even though they are supposed to be weatherproof, I think weather resistant might be a better description. I always make sure the cover over the keyhole is closed but I'm seeing a bit of corrosion under the cover. So far, they're working fine.

I ordered these locks for outdoor use, and they are perfect! They are 'rubber' coated, with a sealed cover over the key insert. The necks seem longer than the photo depicts, which works well. I was especially happy to order two keyed-alike locks with four keys - so helpful. The seller also notes he/she will key alike any number of locks for persons with that need. And they arrived EARLY!! How great is that? Very satisfied customer right here.....

Good locks holding up well in the outdoors, but I took the rubber parts off as it was trapping moisture.

I purchased these in April 2025 to secure four different gates on our church property. However, after only four months of outdoor exposure, their performance has been extremely disappointing. The black coating did not prevent corrosion, and both the lock bodies and the shackles are showing visible signs of it. This has made the locks increasingly difficult to operate. Turning the key requires significant effort, which is a major issue for a lock that needs to be accessed regularly. The keys themselves have also started to corrode. We attempted to remedy the stiffness by applying 3-in-One lock dry lube, but it made no noticeable difference. For a product marketed for outdoor use, this level of deterioration in such a short period is unacceptable. I would not purchase these again and cannot recommend them. Now I am looking for a replacement.

We bought these primarily to secure the hitch on our boat/utility trailer both when hooked up to the hitch but also when not. We went out in the yard to move our boat the other day and found the lock like this. It was still locked. We can only guess that someone had taken a crowbar to it in an attempt to break it but it held strong. Yay. We still have our boat.

I like the rubber around the lock. Keeps from getting hot.

The locks were ideal for securing the multiple access doors on a Caterpillar mobile generator. Each lock came with two keys for a total of eight, so there were plenty to share with the four employees and support vendors require access for operation and maintenance.

Love that these came with 8 keys!! The long shank fits through our latches and makes for easy access. I have bought this set before and happy with them.
