Pretty ticked at the moment. The gauges look and work just like they are supposed to. The problem is have with them is the are advertised as for the humvee like I have. Min is a 1992 m1038. The brackets do not fit with out some grinding and shaping. I'm so sick of having to modify brand new parts that should work and fit right out of the box! It's not like this is some custom build! I'm trying to keep her as close to original as I can.

I have restored around 20 HMMWV/HUMVEEs over the past few years and on almost all of them, the gauges are in rough shape. They are beaten up, have cloudy or scratched glass, are busted, or just plain won't work. I got the opportunity to try these gauges out and they are a phenomenal upgrade to the original military gauges. The fit and finish is much nicer than OEM, the lettering is easy to ready, and the build is solid. I am always skeptical when new products come out for HMMWVs because they are often times very cheaply made and not something I would want to use in one of my trucks but that is definitely not the case here. I actually purchased black gauges with mine to go with one of their green dash replacements to create contrast. They fit absolutely perfectly and really look amazing. They have the same military hookups you are going to find on existing 24V HMMWV gauges. The speedometer is cable driven and is 0-60 so it is going to be something you want to use on non-turbo models. These would include the M998, M997, M1097, M1123, M1145, M1143, and other similar vehicles. Other than the speedometer, the rest of the gauges will work in ANY HMMWV variant ever made. I am hoping they come out with a speedo that will work with the newer HUMVEE variants in the future. If you are looking to upgrade, replace or install missing gauges in your HUMVEE restoration project, you won't go wrong with these gauges.

I am impressed with these. They’re a great way to fix those 24-volt gauges on your surplus HMMWV. Let’s face it, most of these trucks have at least one broken gauge. These replacements do the job. I really like that they include a gauge-specific listing with the connections, making rewiring much easier. I recommend them.

This set is for an early gen humvee (M998, HMMWV) and is useable, with modification, in any project you may be building. The speedo is mechanical and intended for the Turbo400-tranny that came behind the old 6.2 liter non-turbo GM diesel engine (mid-1980's era). I am using this in an old M-37 project and have not installed them yet; so I will have to update this review after I see how they actually function. For now, I inspected them and they appear to be of decent quality...especially for only a couple hundred bucks for the whole set. I seriously question the "mil-spec" nomenclature on the speedo; I highly doubt the manufacturer actually filed and received approval for labeling the mil-spec for the speedo (let alone the rest of the gauges). There is no indication of where these gauges were made nor any calibration or other specs (such as the range for the charge gauge, so I have to presume it's a 24 volt gauge, even though some domestic-use M998's were 12 volt). Given the somewhat misleading milspec indication and lack of specs/details (nothing in the box) for the gauges (as a whole)... I can only give these a medium 3 star rating. If they turn out to work great I will update this review! Still... if you have a turbo400-tranny and just need/want basic analog gauges (and want matching ones) then this isn't a bad deal.

I got these as they appear to be able to fit a M35A2 deuce and a half. The connectors look to be the same as my old deuces gauges. I am not for sure on the speed o yet, but the other gauges in this set should work. Having a 50 year old truck means gauges fail and don’t read correctly anymore. I look forward to installing them to see how they hold up. I do recommend these as it is difficult to find parts for older military vehicles.
