Columbia Men's Newton Ridge Plus 2 Suede Wp Mid Rise Trekking and Hiking Boots

These are the best boots I've ever owned, I originally bought them just to use for nice days, walking into town etc, but recently I went on a hike up Blencathra and they were fantastic, the most comfortable boots I have ever owned, nice and firm, with great support.

Great quality boots at a fraction of the normal cost of other brands. Very sturdy and comfortable. I had a slight issue that I needed to contact the seller and the service and speed of replies was excellent.

Very comfortable and warm insulating feeling. Rain proof, good for 15k walks with no issue. Bought these pair to replace same brand boot.

Absolutely comfortable boots for all the walking I have done they have stood the test. But need to waterproof them before we start our DofE expedition again.

I'm a Forester and I use these boots for work, I love them, they're hard-wearing but relatively light, and they don't have that cheap, thin, leather-looking, skin that gets ruined by thorns etc. They're a good boot

Unlike some reviewers, I have actually worn these for a while. They're comfortable and for the price (I paid £60 on Amazon) good value. They're absolutely not 100% waterproof, but they are water-resistant, which is fine for my use, as I mainly wear these to walk to the shops and stuff like that. Heel support isn't great and it can sometimes feel like your ankle is moving around in the boot, so you have to re-tighten the laces every now and again. I've not done that many miles in them and the soles are already starting to wear away, which for a cheap boot is expected - the soles are very soft material, which makes them comfortable, but not long lasting. If you're looking for dedicated walking/hiking boots that are waterproof and long lasting, I'd give these a swerve, but for casual use and comfortable feet - at the price they're OK.
