My go-to buffer
This is my favorite nail buffer for quick at-home nail days. It’s simple, does exactly what I need and makes my nails look clean and shiny without needing polish.I like that it has all the sides to file, smooth and shine. The shine side actually works and doesn’t leave scratches. It’s gentle enough that my nails don’t feel thin after.I keep one in my bathroom and usually toss another in my bag just in case. For the price it’s totally worth it and lasts way longer than I expected. If you like to keep your nails looking nice but don’t always have time for a salon, grab this. It’s a little thing that makes me feel more put together.

I love it so much it’s a repeat purchase!
I buy more of these every time mine gets too dull. It does everything! Really rough side for major filing and a less rough one on the other side. Then you have two more areas for really light filing and smoothing. Then a side for shine and buff! Love it!

Sometimes you need a buffing block and file all in one
While I have plenty of glass nail files I find that sometimes you just need a coarser grit if you break a nail or two and need to cut them all down and file and buff them. I like the Tweezerman buffing blocks for more gentle buffing as I find the writing for the steps on this file can sometimes be impossible to read either straight out of the packaging or after prolonged use and then you don't know what color = what step. I wish the grits on the black and white sides were printed, as the "Step 1: Even Out" (baby blue section) isn't really good for that. The grits are a bit stronger than Tweezerman's for the buffing stages - especially on Step 3 and Step 4, and Step 4 is coarser than Step 2. I took a star off because when you apply enough pressure or use it more frequently it tends to break in half inside where the foam is if you use the colored sides for the buffing block type work so it could be sturdier as well as having more visible markings and grit numbers listed as well.

Fantastic
I’ve been using the same old polishing block for like 10+ years because I havent been able to find a comparable replacement and it’s been long discontinued. But I finally found one! So happy with this, it’s good for natural nails and isn’t too rough, it has the perfect amount of grit and 6 different levels as well. Hopefully this one doesn’t ever get discontinued.

Guess my fingers are bigger than most...
I've used a chunkier type block in the past, but decided to try this one based on the good reviews. Sadly, I can not rate it highly. It bends easily as I am buffing; the buffing sides are very narrow and I kept getting into the rough shaping emery board as I was buffing, even to the point of cutting my one finger! I was able to get a shine, but definitely not going to use again. I do have large hands and long nails, but was not expecting that the buffer was so narrow that I could not easily do my whole nail without reangling constantly
