Le Creuset Signature Cast Iron Everyday Pan, 11", Licorice

Very happy with the well nade, sturdy pan that conducts heat evenly during the cooking process. I have a flat, glass top electric cooking surface. Fell in love with this pan while visiting my daughter & using the same pan at her house.

Die Pfanne sieht sehr schön aus. Aber das Gusseiserne ist ziemlich rau ich frag mich ob da nichts anbrennt. DHL verlangte eben 63,00€ Bar an der Haustür ohne Quittung. Er hat mir nur das Display gezeigt. Sollen das nochmal zusätzliche Zollgebühren sein zu den 43€!? Mit soviel hab ich nicht gerechnet, ich bin davon ausgegangen die Pfanne kommt aus Frankreich/ EU und nicht vom Mond! Über den Kundenservice kann ich nichts finden der Bot war nicht Hilfreich. Sind die 63€ jetzt futsch? Eine Rechnung hätte ich gern.

I have had a Le Creuset dutch oven for over 20 years and I love it. My dutch oven is great for many things, but this pan is so much more versatile and I use it much more. This is lighter, wider, and deep “enough” for most things I make. It is easy to clean and retains heat well on my electric (glass) cooktop. I have yet to find a “hot spot” or experienced uneven cooking (which often happens with my green pan skillets on the same cooktop.) I knew that the pan did not come with a lid and thought that I would not mind - but it turns out that I did mind. At first I used my old stand-by - a pizza pan, but then I tried the largest lid I own, a glass and metal model (pictured) from 1KEA - it fits perfectly and is super light weight! This combo is now the closest thing to perfect that I have in my kitchen.

This Everyday Pan is a keeper. We've used it every day since receiving it. So glad we ordered it. The seller sold It slightly reduced and indicated the box was lightly damaged, so took the chance. The pan itself was in excellent condition. This has become a favourite cookware piece.

I have been using another brand of cast iron for years. The cookware has performed well. However this pan is now my go to pan. Cleaning is easy and fast. The pan is somewhat lighter. Heat is distributed more evenly than in the other cast iron but that could be the cooktop itself. Pan is pricey but worth it
