Easy to put in place with no drilling necessary
I found these easy to apply to the tiles in my shower without te hassle of drill holes. All you need to do is press fairly firmly on the flanges at the top and boom o the handles and this causes a form suction to grip ant smooth surface. Removal is equally easy, just a matter of reversing the process, pulling up,instead of pressing down. No great strength is necessary either way. This means it’s easy to move the handles if you change your mind about where you want to place them. But it also means it would be ready to take with you when travelling ensurung safety and stability wherever you are. These are not just for the elderly or infirm. I’ve wanted a handle for my shower that I could grab on to when washing my feet or calves for a long time: balancing on one leg on a wet and possibly slippy surface is not sensible at any age. But I was put off my the idea of having to drill holes in the tiles. These, however, are just the ticket and I can also, take one with me when I go to stay with family or friends, or to stay in hotel: most of them don’t have grab handles even on the bath. And that’s where the second one comes in. As it happens the bath in this house already had a built-in safety handle when we moved in. But having another handle set higher up on the wall, or on the side of an adjacent shower cubical adds another layer of help and stability when standing to get out of the bath. Having a (matching) pair is a bonus.Lastly, I like the colour. All the others I’ve seen only come in white which can make them look like they really belong in a hospital or home for the elderly. The blue colour on these would fit with many bathroom colour schemes and look more like a style statement than a mundane necessity.Superficial? Moi? 😄
