New Life SpectrumGoldfish Regular 150g (Naturox Series)

Fed this to my goldfish for years when they sold it at Petco. They loved it, I felt good giving it to them because it was high quality, and I could tell it made them feel good. I did usually pre-soak it before feeding.

I have been feeding my smaller goldfish Rapashy Gold and it has been GREAT for my 2-inch gold fish. I began to feed it to my new jumbo (5", 4.5" and 3.5") gold fish and two started having swim bladder problems, one right away the other after more than a week on Rapashy Gold. I tried 3 days without food (repeatedly), skinned peas (the 2 sick one's primary food with little or no Rapashy). In desperation I searched for another food and liked what I read about New Life Spectrum Goldfish Daily Diet.At the time of the food change over, one ailing fish ate a little of the New Life pellets but it was not in time, he died from having lived life upside-down for a little too long. The other ailing one quickly became well and normal eating the New Life Spectrum regular pellet daily diet. The third fish did well on Rapashy Gold, never showed a symptom of swim bladder, and is doing just as good on New Life Spectrum. I did not know about the larger pellet. My larger goldfish are doing great now and are vacuuming up the super small pellets, but I think I will purchase the larger pellets next time.

Over the years of keeping fish New Life Spectrum has been my go to fish feed. I like the quality, the ingredients & it has a good smell. I like to use pellets versus flakes. Our fish have beautiful coloring and are super healthy and active. This is my favorite fish food. Our fish go nuts for it. I will always recommend this brand.

Not sure what I did wrong, my 2 year old telescope died but, I wanted to give the product the benefit of the doubt, because my little guy loved the food and I felt maybe it was something else since he was already struggling with swimmers bladder. But, two other fish from a different tank also died. The last one, literally refused to eat at all and became lethargic. All I’m saying is be careful , maybe introduce it gradually and keep an eye on your little fellas. I think perhaps the diet change affected them . Check water parameters as well to not any changes after feeding time. I was literally feeding them 3-4 small grains each so as to not over feed about 2 x daily. You get a sizeable amount for the price . So, that’s good. Be sure to check the pellet size befor you buy . Th small ones are really small. About the size of Berta fish pellets.

I have been using New Life Spectrum fish food for years and the result is satisfactory. My goldfish never gets sick (such as swollen abdomen). Goldfish enthusiasts here and they live this food! They goggle it up , provides good growth and beautiful colors. Also doesn’t make the water cloudy or too dirty.

Great quality food at a nice price.

My food came in plastic wrap with cap off and food in bag - it was a sealed bag so I kept it, but it wasn’t very professional. The size is tiny for my butterfly periscope goldfish. I will order bigger size next time. It is quality food and I do like it. If it had been bagged properly I would have given it all 5’s as I love this food, but because they sent it to me like this I have to say don’t do that again please. Should have returned.
