Overall great scooter – buy with confidence!
Bought this Movemagic scooter for my disabled wife, who had been using an Invacare Lynx L-4. She prefers the four-wheeled scooters, so this popped onto my list of options. Bought this one due to the overall good reviews, price, and purported range. So far, not disappointed! The big problem she was having with her previous scooter was that the Pb-acid batteries were barely lasting a couple months before needing replacement. And, even in the best case, their range seemed really modest – a couple miles max. After only modest use, that would drop down to one lap around the neighborhood or about 1 mile: weak!So was really drawn toward the Li-ion battery tech in this scooter. And it TOTALLY delivers! She can now go for 4-5 days between charges with her 30 A-hr battery and since we bought the “45 mile” range version, we have a spare 15 A-hr battery so can easily rotate between the two. In this way, we always have a fully-charged, fresh battery ready to go. Now she is able to do almost 10 miles a day, for several days, before needing to charge the bigger battery; the smaller one is about half that – 2-3 days between charges, as expected. This is an incredible improvement! The overall size of the scooter is similar to the Lynx, so about a wash there. The controls are a little different and the wife prefers the “pull” type lever on this one compared to her previous scooter’s “push” type. A minor detail. The motor controller is really nice with a more sophisticated acceleration profiling ramp. In other words, if you “nail the throttle”, the scooter doesn’t just rocket off. It gradually builds up speed so is more controllable. The downside is that if you expect instant response you’ll be left wanting, and likewise it is a more disconnected throttle/motor connection. This is a bit of a taste thing. The turning radius is not as tight as the Lynx which is a downside in terms of being able to maneuver in tight spots. On the up side, it makes the platform a lot less likely to tip over: it was waaay easy to get the old scooter up on two wheels and she is not interested in recreating the Dukes of Hazzard on this thing! The seat is a little less plush than the Lynx, and the back is not as rigid. But, again, she reports that she likes this one better. The motor and drive mechanism are SUPER quiet. The motor is quite powerful and the thing is plenty quick; faster than any walking pace when set to full speed. The speed control, horn and light controls are easy and intuitive to use. The built in head light is super bright! This was really nice – she had to use my bike light on her old scooter which meant I had to keep switching it back and forth. That the light control is now right on her dash is great. The battery is much lighter than the lead-chunks on the old scooter and they are super easy to swap out. I do wish the scooter chassis broke in half like many do as this helps to get in in the car for transport. But, since the scooter is pretty light it’s a minor inconvenience – just need to have a bit more space in the car/truck allocated for it.She’s had it for a couple months now and has had plenty of seat time. She still LOVES it! And, that means I do too!

Scooter
I’m very happy with this machine. It came on time was boxed beautifully and was easy to put together. I am a 73 year-old woman and I was able to do everything by myself. It’s a little bit heavy for me and I will need to have help putting it in my car. It’s also small which is great for this small person (I’m only 4’11). My son who is 5’9 said he was comfortable but I thought he looked a little large on it. I live on a gravel road and it was important for me to have something that would go on gravel. It moves very well on the on the gravel, but it is a bit of a rough ride. I rode it over to the park about 1/4 mile which is paved and it cruises right along. It’s peppy. The next weekend My son and I took it to the bike path and I rode it for about 6 to 7 hours on the bike path without any problems. Went about 10 miles with it. It never slowed down or lost power . I’m very pleased with its performance. It went uphill and downhill, and the speed never changed. I have been housebound and this machine is going to be a blessing. It’s gonna give me access to the out of doors again.

Great battery life, Great price
I am giving a five-star review because the scooter is absolutely wonderful. It holds a battery charge for a very long time and I am able to travel long distances in a short amount of time. This scooter travels at 6.2 miles per hour, while many scooters on the market only travel at 3 or 4 miles per hour. Customer service is excellent. There is a little bit of a language barrier, but that is to be expected. Be kind and remain patient. I had an issue that required some trouble shooting; customer service walked my through instructions and troubleshooting steps. In the end, I was not able to repair on my own. Customer service honored their warranty and shipped a complete replacement unit. I am very happy with my purchase and you will be as well.

good customer service , very surprised
The scooter is easy to assemble and once battery is charged it runs and works fine , scooter works and functions great.it is comfortable but turning radius is OK , but wish it could turn tighter, mobility is good , weight is not bad and you can lessen weight with removable seats and baskets which helps with room to store or travel with.battery life , not sure yet , we just got it ,we will know later as its being used.

Great cart at this price point
Great mobility unit for a great price. Easy to put together. Note, however, that there's no good spot for the bonus cell phone holder. But one doesn't generally buy a mobility scooter for the phone holder, so I wouldn't get my knickers in a bunch over it.I bought a cup holder that has a separate slot to hold your phone for just a few bucks on Amazon and that works better.I also recommend buying a cover, especially if you plan to park it in a garage or carport. It's still on the heavy side, so you'll likely need an able-bodied person to lift it in the car or some kind of ramp that you can use to roll it up to the trunk. (Some workable solutions can be found on amazon, from wheelchair ramp to loading ramps. Just put the scooter in neutral and guide it up the ramp.BTW, this thing really motors, so if you're used to grocery store mobility carts, this may feel fast. Also, the turning radius isn't great, so no sharp turns.

Great Quality!
Great, smooth ride. Long battery life and great quality over all. Only took one star away because the turn radius isn’t great. But otherwise a great value!
