Has anyone tried the Jarrows "Bone Up" Supplement which includes MK-7? Does anyone see a reason to buy that over this?

While I have not and would not use the "Bone Up" formula, neither would I recommend purchasing Jarrow's MK-7. The "Bone-Up" formula not only has a small amount of MK-7, but the calcium source is not really very good and you have to take from 3-9 (depending on the formula) capsules/tablets a day. My personal commendation would be to get a good Calcium/D3 combo that provides at least 1,000 mg/IUs that you take 1 tablet once or twice a day. I use a Citracal formula, but you need to look for calcium citrate or calcium carbonate as they are more easily absorbed. If you want to take MK-7, you should know that it is important the manufacturer uses a quality "carrier" oil such as olive oil. The Jarrow brand uses evening primrose oil and soybean oil, which do not bind with MK-7 sufficiently. I'm speaking from experience. When I first started using MK-7, I used the Nutrigold brand. It was out of stock when I needed to re-order, so I ordered the Jarrow brand. I noticed the difference within a week. I now use Life Extension's Super K formula. Both the Nutrigold and Life Extension use olive oil as the carrier, both are currently in stock, and you take only one capsule daily.I'm sorry my answer is so long, but I believe in clarifying the reasons I have for saying yes or no on a product. 2nd ? :Given my plaqued arteries & age, which K2 is best for me? Will any reverse clogged arteries?

Just finished reading 'Vitamin K2 and the Calcium Paradox' by Dr. K. Rheaume-Bleue. She says K2;MK7 is required, along with Vit A & D to direct calcium to bones and teeth and away from arteries and soft tissue. I use Jarrows Bone-Up with K2;MK7 and my teeth aren't sensitive anymore. After reading aforementioned book, I'm ready to up my K2;MK7 dosage to keep my bones & teeth healthy. (I'm 63) Read the well-written book and see for yourself. Good luck cleaning out those arteries!!

Does this contain soy oil or olive oil, the description shows one in one picture and another in the other label?

Ingredients: Vitamin K2(as Natural MK-7menaquinone-7) (From Non-GMO Natto Extract) 90 mcg. Other Ingredients: Non-GMO medium chain triglycerides, and olive oil. Softgel consists of gelatin, glycerin, purified water and organic caramel. No wheat, no gluten, no dairy, no egg, no fish/shellfish, no peanuts/tree nuts.

If the half- life of MK-7 is 3 days, can you take one serving every 3 days?

In the context of taking oral medications or supplements, "half life" is the period of time at which the next dose should be taken - source of that is several of my physicians. Taking a supplement with a half-life of 3 days means you can take one "serving" every 3 days to maintain the expected level of the supplement. What is your source that states the half-life is 3 days? That would have to include how long it floats around in the blood stream.
