My wife recommended this to me for my Nissan Frontier. Problem there was the “radio” in it is not Car Play compatible (I bought a stand-alone device for my pickup and it works fine). But… her Mazda CX5 requires plugging her phone into a USB outlet for full hands-free use. So I decided to get this for her car. I love it. it works flawlessly and I am able to tether my iPhone to it without having to change settings in her car. She hasn’t made the decision to tie her phone to it “yet”. Sooner or later, she’ll ask me and then - I’ll fix her up. EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND EXCELLENT SELLER.

Apple CarPlay is a wonderful technology, but if your vehicle is just a bit older (mine is a 2022 Toyota Tacoma), it can't connect wirelessly to CarPlay. That required me to connect a USB cable to my phone every time I got into my truck and wanted to use any of the features of CarPlay. I was fine just connecting my phone via Bluetooth and leaving it at that.But this device changes everything! Now, when I get in my truck, my phone automatically connects to this device and connects CarPlay, as if it were plugged in. No more fumbling with cables. If I am on a long trip, I can still connect my phone via cable (although it is to another port) to charge it. But that's no big deal.Setting up is super simple (much easier than I expected). I've never had an issue with the phone failing to reconnect at startup. I typically and primarily use CarPlay to play music. Having the maps available is great. But the system seldom starts playing music automatically (which simple Bluetooth does). I've not found any settings that can change this. But, I think that may be an issue with CarPlay and not this device (I could be wrong). This is the only thing I wish worked better.If your vehicle has CarPlay available, but doesn't allow wireless connectivity, this is the device for you! It is just a bit on the pricey side, but the convenience of this device pays for itself quickly!

Adapter works seamlessly with my phone. It was very easy to set up and I have had zero issues with it. I even bought a second one for my husbands car since it worked so well. The communication from the seller on how to contact them if I had any issues it was really appreciated. I have not had to reach out to them, but I know I can in the future. The adapter is the right size in that I can hold it securely to install but it doesn’t get in the way once it’s plugged in.

I own a 2020 Camry Hybrid. Until recently, the Apple Car Play worked just fine. I used USB to connect my iPhone 12 to the car system. Everything popped up just like it was supposed to. However, a few months ago, I noticed that while I could play podcasts and listen to music, making and/or receiving phone calls was problematic. Audio would cut out and the caller would have trouble hearing me through the call itself. I tried various suggestions to find and clear the problem but to no avail. I finally broke down and bought this Bluetooth adapter. So far, it works great. No issues using it, and my phone calls now work perfectly. I still don't know what went wrong with the USB port in my car, but this device has allowed me full functionality with CarPlay. I'd buy one again.

This is a pretty good product. I'm not disappointed in it per say, but there are some things that I think buyers should know about this. There IS a delay when navigating menus, changing songs, etc. It's not ridiculously slow (maybe 1-1.5 seconds) but enough to be noticed.There is also a problem I have experienced periodically with temporary disconnection. More specifically, if I am listening to Spotify while driving for example, every once in a while there is a pause (disconnect) in the music, and then it starts up again. It has happened enough that caused me to spend time attempting to troubleshoot it and figure it out. So far I have not been able to. This problem seems to be intermittent rather than consistent which leads me to believe it may not be a general product issue, and may just be this specific device and it's connection with my iPhone.Over all, I am happy I bought it. It eliminates the need to plug my phone in every time I get into my truck, which saves me time as I am a person that travels a lot and is always in a hurry. Generally, it works really well and serves the purpose that I purchased it for. I think that if I could figure out the disconnection issue, I would be extremely happy and would end up giving this product 5 stars.The final positive thing I'll say, is that it is extremely small and doesn't take up a lot of room from my dashboard. It happens to match the interior of my truck very well which makes it really nice. Other products seem large and cumbersome and I'm glad that this works without taking up a lot of room or being an eyesore.All in all, I would say this is a good buy IF you're okay with slight delay in input. I can't confirm that the disconnection issue is widespread, or if it's just my device (or even just my personal devices interfering somehow). Keeping all of this in mind, I give it 4 stars and say it was a worthwhile purchase.

I bought this wireless Car Play adapter because I was tired of all the issues I had with the wired connection in my car being so unreliable. I just plugged the adapter in and it just popped up. I had to pair it with my phone, but that part was easy. I come in the car and it connects automatically. I now completely enjoy using Apple Car Play in my car wirelessly and I do not miss the unreliable wired connection. I would recommend this to anyone who wants and doesn't have wireless Apple Car Play and need it in their car.
