Bought this to change the plugs in my 2000 Ford Ranger xlt 4 cylinder. Anyone who has this truck knows it has 8 plugs and the number 3&4 at the back of the motor in front of the driver are a HUGE PAIN. Without this socket it would have been impossible. I was leary of getting this one because I was afraid it would be cheap made chinese materials, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It's not a snap-on or matco but it did the job. I read reviews on similar ones stating the magnet had fallen out with use. This one stayed in place and worked perfectly. A couple of them were pretty tight and the socket didn't bust and the universal swivel joint worked well without failure. I did add another 6” extension to reach where I needed, but I would have done the same with any other socket. Overall, it got the job done and is still intact and will be able to function to do the job again. For the price I'm very happy with this purchase.

The socket cannot be separated from the extension, so no more worries about leaving the socket attached to the spark plug deep inside the engine. Highly recommended!

Great for diy your spark plugs. Great quality

Worked perfect to get old spark plugs out and put new in. I just replaced all my spark plugs on my own for the first time and this tool did what it was supposed to. The only thing I will say is that once the spark plug feels loose you still need to keep using your ratchet to unscrew it until it comes completely out with the tool. I thought i needed to pull it out initially, or that i needed an additional magnet part, but this tool is magnetic once you get the spark plug completely unscrewed. You do need a ratchet or torque wrench with this, this tool will not work without it.

I used this to replace spark plugs for 2013 Acura TSX. It worked like a charm. The best part is its magnetic property that helps to install new spark plugs without dropping, which can damage new spark plugs.

I just replaced my spark plugs using this today in my 2011 VW Jetta 2.5L and it worked fantastically. I was really impressed with how well it held the spark plugs with the magnet. I would definitely buy this again.

your car parts finder is not totally correct orderd this unit looks good but came as a 16 mm my car uses 14 mm
