Chicory syrup with added sugar and no fiber?? How is this possible? Chicory syrup is supposed to be low on sugar and rich in fiber. Please change the name. It should be called sugary syrup with chicory flavor! Misleading and disappointing.

Loved this sweet syrup in my morning coffee! Just wish the bottle was bigger for what it costs.

This is wonderful syrup. I love that it's in a glass bottle. I first had chicory in New Orleans and thought it was lovely, but never sought it out. I am so glad I decided to try this one - it's perfect. The syrup lets me add it not just to coffee or tea, but to hot chocolate and even to pour over ice cream or incorporate in desserts. I am so pleased to discover this company. I may use this to substitute for vanilla in some of my scones this fall! It's earthy, but sweet because of the cane sugar. I found it's a perfect blend of something that reminds me of a mix of coffee, chocolate, nuts, and essentially a rich flavor. If you like the taste of chicory I think you would love this. I am such a fan, and definitely want to explore what other items Bluestem makes! So many syrups are pivoting to 'sugar free' and these use artificial ingredients or chemicals. This chicory simple syrup is organic! It's all natural ingredients and non-gmo, it's well worth the $19 this was priced at when I received it. Absolutely delicious and a fantastic option to have in your kitchen!

I wasn’t really sure what to expect when I ordered. I know chicory has a coffee like flavor and this taste like roasted coffee flavored simple syrup. It is excellent. The flavor to sweetness balance is just about perfect. It could be used in many ways … from drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic) to desserts to smoothies or oatmeal. It comes in a classy glass bottle. The ingredient list is short and clean. The best by date is about 10 months out. I have to call out the effort that was taken to ensure this makes it to its final destination in good shape. The cardboard box folds around the bottle and over itself several times to create a cocoon that really protects the glass bottle. Bottle should be refrigerated after opening. Overall, I really like this prod and am interested in seeing what else Bluestem Botanicals makes.

Every morning I drink a French market style "coffee with chicory" hot brewed coffee as my 1st cup of the day. And then if I want more coffee during the day, I usually switch to an iced coffee. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a premade iced coffee that has chicory already in it, let alone one that I have liked. Enter this syrup… This makes the perfect cup of iced coffee with chicory, exactly what I've been looking for. I'm sure with a bit of experimentation, I can also find many other uses for this but really having it for my iced coffee is amazing. Very happy with this purchase.

I feel cheated…this product contains cane sugar…it is not written how much, but as it is first ingredient after water I guess a lot. And you can’t return it! DO NOT BUY it if you want sugar free true chicory syrup!
