Value, Quality, I’m starting to like this company!
This is my second item from Sentinel Survival Equipment. This is a budget friendly company with the products that work. I was looking for a multiple use tool for my “Get Home” bag, that would enable shelter building or re-enforcement, protection that was quite ( IYKYK), and compact. This axe has some hefty components and did great with the punishment I tested it against. I threw it, hammered it, and made sure the ferro-rod worked. It did work well, made sparks. The good : strong, welded hammer, and bolted head for easy cleaning and sharpening. The rubber o-rings will keep this tight and rust free. Room in the handle to add some small hooks and line if you want, matches, or fire tinder. The bad: the lanyard is useless, I will add my own multi-survival line, and the blades (the axe blade and knife) are basically sharp but not up to the sharpness it needs to be and the blade profile needs adjusting and tuning. The ugly; the internal knife. This should not be the knife you only carry. Let’s just say I will not feel bad using the knife to shave tinder and strike the ferro-rod, and stab zombies, or use as a spear head. All in all, worth the $35 bucks all day long. At this price point you still have money for a good knife, and lanyard. ; )

Cool multi-tool, sharp hatchet
This is a great hatchet, I really enjoy the multi-tool aspect to it. The grip has a nice texture to it that even with gloves or wet hands, it wouldn’t slip out of your grip. Heavy enough to split any wood, and lightweight enough to not kill your back when walking it back - although you definitely notice when you have it in your bag. Didn’t use any of the other tools as I usually carry a firestarter and camping knife but it’s always nice to have redundancies that don’t take up additional space. My biggest issue with the hatchet is if you are chopping wood, ensure you periodically tighten the twisting segments of the handle because they loosen. I had a buddy who borrowed the hatchet for chopping firewood and it came back without the compass on the bottom - not a big deal to lose that tiny compass, but it’s difficult to give 5 stars to something that will loosen with a small to moderate amount of its primary use.

Very Sturdy and handy especially for the price!
This thing is awesome! It's really solid and has a great feel to it. I took it camping and had no problem cutting up firewood and using the strike tool to start a fire. The knife is great too- no need to carry an extra now. At only 40 bucks, I'm going to get more to give out as gifts!

Blade came loose, compass popped off after 3rd whack
This hatchet looked awesome. After 3rd whack to some seasoned firewood the head is already moving and the compass blew out the bottom and wont stay in. Not sure how there were so many good reviews im going to return for sure

Nice ax
It has a nice balance and good functionality. Great for short or long treks. Good value for the cost. We'll see how good the edge is when I take it out.
