I've been dabbling with inexpensive Chinese knives for about a year now and I bought this knife because Ruike knives are a subsidiary of Sanrenmu. I loved my Sanrenmu 1161 and thought the P108 would be similar. Just another $40 Sandvik 14c28n steel framelock.I was wrong.It feels lighter, the beta plus lock has better tolerances(Unlike my 1161) and the ergos feel so nice in hand.The detent isn't as aggressive as the Sanrenmu but it is very solid and so's the lockup. Also, it's very very sharp.I know that some people aren't a huge fan of the cone clip and sure it looks kinda flashy but it does put the jewel in pocket jewelry. If you own the Ruike p801, you can swap the clips to reduce the flashiness. There are some who don't like the Beta Plus lock and that's understandable as it's kind of gimmicky but It hasn't affected the performance or function of the blade for me.Now, I have noticed at the bottom of the handle, between the scales and the backspacer, your finger can actually catch the tip of the blade if you press down so proceed with caution. Unfortunately, I received the satin finish model after ordering the Blackwash model but that doesn't affect my review.The most important thing about these knives is that they feel waaaay more expensive than you'd think. For the value, this is an amazing gentleman's knife and I couldn't recommend it more. I will watch Ruike's career with great interest.TL;DR: This is a great knife with great steel and great design for an amazing price. Comes very sharp and very smooth. Just buy it.

I've bought just about every knife that Ruike makes and they are all well made, sturdy, beautiful in design. I would recommend this brand - and this knife in particular - to anyone looking for a tactical folder.

Ruike makes a handsome blackwash EDC pocket knife as it turns out. This feels good in the hand, svelte, with a blade that's a grade better than you might expect for this size & price. Does have a slide lock which holds the liner locked blade more securely. Pocket clip is not ambidextrous/ reversible, but it's easy to carry and the metal makes it sturdy-built for its slim size.

Incredible knife, the tolerances it was made with are ridiculous, there is absolutely zero play in the blade, when locked it basically becomes a fixed blade! Holds an edge and sharpens quite well too!

Have bought 3 of these knives. Although the knife itself is pretty solid, the pocket clip, is flimsy and has broken clean off on both knives. Whether it catches your seat belt or anything really - just snaps right off. Disappointing. :\

Amazingly high quality for the price. Is in the same league as 100$+ custom knives.
