I bought this product as it is an upgraded version from the HD 4928 with improved heating mechanism. The best thing about this is it works with literally any type of induction base even if the base is a bit uneven. The prestige induction we had earlier was not able to heat up the induction base which it heated. So thumbs up for that. Also the pressure cooker, water boiling, milk boiling feature is very fast compared to the prestige one I had earlier. Cons is this E7 ERROR. When I purchased for the first time this E7 error popped up after using it for 5 minutes. Then as soon as possible we returned it and the replaced product which we got is working gorgeously touch wood since one month. Maybe the first product which we got was defective or pirated copy version of this. Make sure you buy this product from a good seller.

Does not go beyond 1000 watt. Even though the indicator will point to max wattage in manual mode. Its erratic.. Sometimes it stop heating erratically mid cooking.. It will barely keep the curry warm.. Impossible to make curry and then fry poori back to back.. Even with 5min break in between. After a curry cooking session it barely able to heat oil enough to fry. Misleading products. High price but low performance. I have 1600 watt bajaj induction thats more reliable than this. Quite un reliable in heating it will provide.

No dobut Philips indication cooktops no 1 quality but my bad i received broken cooktop

Work wise it is doing good till now ,but build quality could be better . I bought it in tough times when because of war ,LPG supply was limited.so bought it at the maximum price .if you on discount price then it will value for money

I bought the same in 1700 only although its MRP is 4k due to an offer which gave me 15% off on a special price Since last 1.5 months I am using the same product and it is working fantastic. Easy to operate and not clumsy functions to confuse users. Grading interval between Temperatures allows you to get a optimize range of desired temperature instead of lower/higher temp point of required one, which is the major drawback of most of other induction cook-tops although its switch panel is packed well which doesn't allow to percolate water inside the cook-top through open spaces but you need to take care of switch panel, which should not come in contact with water or hot base of your utensil for its long life. for efficient use of cooktop , your utensils base area should lie between the outer and inner annular rings drawn on the base plate. a fan is installed inside the cooktop to cool it down rapidly, so you need to run the same in open space (always place on floor/marbal/table while using, never on bed) so that it can get better ventilation for rapid cooling.
