Nando's Peri Peri Sauce - Lemon & Herb 250 g

After having used other Nando's sauce I decided to try this particular flavor which came at a discounted rate. And I am happy I did it. The sauce has a nice tang to it which livens up the salad platter (i had this at the Nandos Restaurant & i loved it, mini home made bread pizzas, chips !. The lemon & herbs in it lends a beautiful flavor to the sauce & you can feel it right through every bite on your tongue. I didn't feel the chilly in it much. I would defintely buy again if it comes on Deal again.As with regard to packaging - it came well packed to take the vigorous journey, reached me much before DOD. Overall, I am very HAPPY with the purchase, delivery & the product.

Great taste. Works well with french fries, burgers, sandwiches.

Very bad in taste ...it tastes like the oil which we take out from a pickle jar ....a let down

I love this sause. I'M using this peri peri from last 6 years. Believe me it tastes so good. Specially with roasted chicken. I love the chicken at nando's with peri peri.

I wrote a recent review on Nando's Lemon & Herb Peri Peri Rub Mild so I won't spend too much time repeating the same information.We lived in South Africa for three years and became a great fan of the Nando's restaurants. They have recently opened a few in the USA but none close to where we live so our best alternative is to buy some of their seasonings. Then we do our best to duplicate the experience.My wife prepares some chicken breasts or thighs by putting them in a baggie with some Nando's Peri-Peri sauce and lets them marinate overnight. Then I toss them on the grill - take them off and cut the meat into slices/chunks. Mix in some more Nando's sauce, put them in a wrap with some diced tomatoes, cucumbers, and some lettuce - and you have come close to a Nando's chicken wrap you can get at a restaurant.Nando's has a variety of sauces, from the "plain" Lemon & Herb to mild, medium, hot, and very hot. For my taste their "ratings" are a bit conservative - medium is about as hot as I prefer. But I haven't found anything else that matches the taste. My only wish is that I could find it at a more reasonable price. Still - it is nice to get a taste of the South African experience.For a laugh go to YouTube and do a search for NANDOS COMMERCIALS - they push the limits a bit but you'd get a feel for the character of the Nando's experience.
