Works great! Much easier to use than a multimeter.
A must have for your house junk drawer. I had a whole bag of AA batteries.... no idea if they were any good... after using this I was able to toss out the junkers. I checked to see if it was actually doing what it claims by breaking out my Fluke multimeter. The batteries that tested bad also tested bad with the meter. This is much easier to use than a meter. Easy to read digital display and small enough to keep in your kitchen junk drawer.

NON-FITTING TESTER ???
Looks good and orange BUT hard to install a battery to test because you have to force the battery onto the tester contacts hoping not to destroy the tested battery. If the battery is dead you will not get a reading because the tester is not powered. Past my return date by three days so i can not return for credit. into the trash can !!!! Do not buy !!!!

Nice concept but doesn’t always work well.
Good multi size pocket tester for a variety of of battery sizes but doesn’t always seem to make good contact so much so that I got a different and better battery tester especially for coin style batteries. Still have it but will probably give it away to someone who doesn’t have a functional battery tester with caveat that it doesn’t always work well.

Inexpensive, reliable, accurate, and simple to use batter tester saved me time and money.
Simple, digital battery tester that works perfectly. It's very easy to use this to test many common size batteries. The digital readout shows the exact remaining voltage, so it's easy to determine if a battery is good, mid-life, or almost dead. It's better than an analog meter, since I can see the actual voltage at up to 2 decimal places. You can quickly compare the reading to the value listed on the battery, so you'll know how to close to it's intended voltage it produces. Special note for button batteries: you can usually tilt the battery so the + and - ends for smaller batteries will still touch the contacts, so you can see those results too. I had a dozen batteries that I wasn't sure about, so this tester resolved my confusion quickly. It let me eliminate more than half of those batteries since they were just too low. For car remotes, this is just wonderful. It saved me money since it easily verified that the remote itself was a problem instead of the battery.
