転職前の２０世紀にSEをしていた頃、自分の作成するドキュメントは、ほとんどがデジタルデータかプリントアウトされたものでした。あるとき、それがなんだかとってもイヤで、そのときから私は、Moleskine（当時はモールスキンと呼んでました。）のノートに、MontegrappaやAuroraの万年筆で書くことにしました。（脱線しますが、ローレックスやホイヤーの時計にゼロの鞄、昔と今とで呼び方が違うモノが多いですね!?）Moleskineのノートは、落ち着いたややクリームがかった紙の色で私の好む柔らかめの万年筆にはとても書きやすくまるでパンツのゴムのような単純なバンドでノートを閉めておくことができるので、ちょっとした紙を挟んでおくことができます。もう１５年も使い続けていますが、今回は遊び心で赤い表紙のノートを選んでみました。シャープペンにコクヨのキャンパスノートのコンビも悪くはありませんがキーボードやマウスにこだわるかたなら、Moleskineのノートもきっと気に入ることと思います。
