Good adjustability and size.
These poles area great addition to our tarp set up. The poles that came with the trap are not adjustable so limits the possibilities for set ups. Use them with the other poles or by themselves depending on the preferred set up. They tighten easily with a little twist and release with opposite twist. Have not loosened up and keep tight in winds. The rubber caps allow to use them directly to the trap or remove caps to place through the eyelets of the trap. Bag is sufficient for storage and while packing. Lighter than the poles that came with the trap and the extended length is enough for high clearance underneath the tarp. Picture shows one on the ground and the other on the table, third pole was original with the tarp. The pole in the middle held tightly in place with the rubber caps without ropes. Really like my decision to purchase these, makes the trap more versatile. Have used them for running a clothes line to hang sleeping bags on to air out and held the weight of 2 bags. Recommend these poles.

does what it should
first time setting up a tarp over my tent (to prevent rain from getting on tent), and the poles worked wonderfully. they extend and tighten, so that you can secure your tarp. it was windy at times and it rained a bit. the tarp stood up really well. poles stayed where they were. my first time, and I did it myself. (I YouTube how to set up a tarp with extendable poles and followed their instruction, and it worked!)

Sturdy and durable easy to use
Very sturdy and strong. If you know how to string it, this will stand the wind without knocking out. Very easy to extend and shorten the length of the pole and not too heavy to carry around. It fits under the 2nd row seats so takes no space at all in my Tesla Model X. Great price for this

Excellent Tent Poles
These tent poles are AMAZING! They’re plenty high if you need extra height, and retract to a mere 3 feet (36 inches). The red rubber tips are a great feature as it gives you the ability to use it as a center pole without running the risk of puncturing the cloth roof/tarp (or whatever material you have)…it also is a great option if you need to secure (for instance) a tarp or tent flap, but you have no grommets to stick the tip rod through..so, simply erect the pole to your desired height and then on the opposite side of the tarp whee you have it erected, simply tie your guy lines around the ball with a simple slip knot and you’re good to go! (Side note for any novice campers: If you ever are in a situation where you are erecting a tarp or some type canopy shelter, but have no grommet holes, simply find a small tick or large stone about the size of a golf ball or even a little smaller, and simply wind those rock and twist them in the corners you want to tie down. It’s the same principle as the red rubber tips that come with these poles, but thought I’d give you a little outdoor survival improvised alternative if you don’t have grommets). I also LOVE the fact that the tips of each pole have two (2) tie-down/guy line points, verses poles that typically only provide one. This way you will have extra stability when you’re faced with high winds, etc.So Todd…if these poles are so great, then why did you only give them Four (4) Stars ⭐️ instead of Five (5)?! Ahhhh…you saw that…great eye! 👁️ Well, this is why. I would not be giving you a sincere and honest review unless I called both balls AND strikes…So here is why I gave it 4 Stars instead of 5. My only issue with these poles (and it’s very minor…and by no means a deal breaker, because these are AWESOME poles….but is still an issue) are the knobs that you twist to “lock and unlock” the poles when you want to lock them in place, and then retract. They’re very tight and sometimes you have to twist the opposite to what the diagram is showing in the poles in order to achieve whatever you’re trying to do (erect or retract). BUT, again, very slight issue and I blame my OCD more than anything…😂😂😂. I do believe, however, that because these poles are new and haven’t been used a lot yet, that over time, those locking knobs will loosen up and be more cooperative…All in All…these tent poles ROCK and are worth every Penny and blow those high dollar elephant whatever poles out of the water. For $40 bucks (or $20/pole) you can’t beat that with a stick. My neighbor with whom I primitive hammock camp with on occasion literarily fell in love with these poles when I showed him these, and immediately jumped on Amazon and bought a pair!

Get four if you wanna camp
Only complaint a price reduction made the 4 pc a should’ve coulda option that would’ve helped if already implemented. My issue lack ofLines for even two poles being enough two lines would’ve been cool enough to support from twoAngles and attach the two as well felt like I didn’t have enough rope to make the temple system work st all other than awning supports

Strong poles
I bought them to put up a tarp for an awning. I didn't need it this week for my camping trip but they are really strong tent poles and work keeping!

❣️❣️❣️
I love the poles! I use them for shade cloth. 1- 11x19 & 1-19’x19’ I connect those to a 10’x10’ pop up. They work perfect even in a light wind.
