Philips AZ1837 Boom Box

I ordered a boom box from amazon and got the product from the seller(edabba) in a weeks time. When I tried playing music in the system it did not play music! I contacted the seller directly and asked for a replacement. I received a replacement from them and when I tried this I found the remote for the replacement piece was not working!!! I assumed they would atleast bother checking the replacement piece before sending it to me. Then started the painful part to get the remote replaced. I contacted ebadda directly and I did not get a positive response, hence I contacted them through amazon. On the first 3-4 attempts I got no response from the seller, then I decided to file for A-Z claim with Amazon as I had run out of patience waiting for the replacement remote. Only on doing this did I get a replacement remote from the seller.My confidence in buying such items online(from this seller-amazon tie up) dropped after his incident. But I am happy that I received a replacement remote and that finally it works.

This was a perfect gift to my mother-in-law who loves listening to devotional songs and speechesIt has radio (MW / FM) tuner and can play music through USB or CDI converted all her CD collection to USB drive and now she can listen to all of them using her remote. She is liking the gift very muchThe sound is also very clear and loud enoughI initially got a package without the remote that I could easily send back for a replacement. That is one of the best things about Amazon fulfillment

Sound is not good. FM is not tuning properly.

A good music system with excellent music quality. Shape and looks are awesome. A good buy. It would have been better if the FM tuner window had been a little more bigger, as it VERY small.

Do not like the volume regulator.

Stupid purchase I ever made in my life. The shiny and glossy look of the device will definitely attract you. But the truth is it is very brittle. If you aren't careful enough, you'll break the buttons specially volume adjuster and radio tuning button. The remote that comes with this device, don't have volume up/down button. That's needs to be done manually. :(My suggestion is it's not worth the price of 3.5K because you'll get full-featured and full-operational device from other manufacturers under 3K.Don't go for this, if you value your heard earned money.

Disappointed ExperienceThe product was good and was delivered with 5 days from Cloudtail (Amaozn) itself. It started to create some sound issue while playing. Then next day, it stopped to work. neither CD nor USB is working. It has turned to FM radio only device.It is in warranty period. I will go to nearest Philips customer care. However I am disappointed for wastage of time and mental agony it caused.Our Local vendors seems to be best than the Big Shops and online sites as I would have gone and replaced the item.

The product is too delicate. The volume button and the radio channel buttons are not good at all. Looks like it's a product made for online sales only to fool the public. Not worth the money.
