These pads fit perfect on Ananda Stealth V2, no problems installing or removing. The build quality is excellent, very soft quality materials (Suede, leather hybrid). I dont know how long they will last but I think you will get your money's worth. As for the sound, imaging, depth, separation etc is all there like the originals but it has a softer/smoother treble response with midrange (vocals) pushed forward slightly. Bass is all very much present, about equal with the original pads. The tonality reminds very much of my Sennheiser HD600 but with all the benefits of Hifiman planar headphones, such as bass response, fast transients, separation, soundstage, imaging etc. Overall, im very pleased and for the price, I would be shocked if these could be beaten 10/10!

Excellent Pads. Way way way more comfy than OEM pads. The OE pads were itchy for me and got very hot, really fast. These pads have none of those problems, and are very soft to the touch (velour) and have like a very soft memory foam inside. Also being deeper, your ear doesn't touch the fabric protection on the inside. I have used them for over 8 months daily, and still looking like new, although i ware glasses. I highly recommend them! In terms of sound I have attached a measurement from my MiniDsp HEARS.

Do what others have said and cut the liner out, but once done these are fanstastic. Very comfortable. Wish I bought them when I bought the Hifiman Edition XS that these went on rather than waste time with the stock ones.

I would advice against removing the mesh. Many hifiman headphones have overextended treble and the mesh attenuates the treble (I would estimate around -3dB). The sound is much more natural, compared to using an EQ for it.

Brilliant quality replacement; fits perfectly and is so easy to change. The foam in the pads is of higher quality than the original.

Firstly, these come with a fabric piece that covers the drivers, I guess on some HiFiMAN headphoens the stock pads do have a fabric layer like this too but on the Ananda Nano the stock pads do not and the fabric layer is attached directly to the earcup protecting the driver from dust etc. I removed this fabric from the velour earpads to retain this feature of the built in fabric and not add an extra "veil" to the sound. How do they sound? I had the Sennheiser HD650, HD660 S2 and HiFiMAN Sundara before the Ananda Nano and with these velour memory foam pads the sound is much closer to the HD650 I'd say in terms of treble brightness, with the retention of the Ananda Nano's bass extension, soundstage and stereo imaging which all remain excellent. The high peak brightness has been brought under control with these earpads and to my ears are exactly how this should have been out of the box. For under £20 these earpads have worked amazingly on the Ananda Nano. Update - 2025.02.12 I now have them on Arya Stealth and everything that was great about these on the Ananda Nano transfers to the Arya as well. Photos updated.

I can't talk about the transitional roll off from bass to treble or any of that "talk" because I have no idea what I'm on about...but was I can say is I was blown away with how the sound changed using these...In my opinion for the better. I swapped to these because I didn't find the stock pads comfortable. These are way more comfortable for me and the noise! The noise is better :)

I've been using them for more than a year on a Hifiman Arya Stealth, they are simply... excellent. Very comfortable, elegant, and after a year, still no signs of wear. Highly recommended!

Tenho um hifiman edition xs há 4 anos. Esta almofada de substituição deixou ele como novo. Muito confortável e de fácil instalação com encaixe perfeito.

XSの純正パッドがヘタってきたタイミングでhe1000Stealthに買い替えたものの、XSが気に入っていたので、処分する気にもならず、ベロアタイプのパッドに替えてみました。すると、付け心地が大改善、また、低音寄りの、迫力が増したような音に変化し、he1000Stealthとは別系統の音に変化、昼は明瞭なhe1000Stealth、夜は濃厚でふんわりとした付け心地の良いXSと使い分けが出来るようになりました。高音の抜けは低下しましたが、660s2に比べたら音場は広いし、高音もくっきり、それでいて中域、低域は660s2寄りになったような聴き心地です。660s2の出番がなくなりそうです。

Love these pads for the he1000se. More comfortable overall, warmer, and effectively tame the treble without negatively affecting bass articulation. I had the ZMF sub pads ($90) and hated how dark/veiled they sounded compared to these and the stock pads. Later found I had to tear out the center fabric but even then, they only sound as good as these $20 voarmaks.
