RESPAWN 900 Gaming Recliner Chair with Footrest, Cup Holder and Swivel

I am very satisfied with the chair. I will post a list of pros and cons below: Pros: -Extremely comfortable. This chair is basically a single-person couch. -Sturdy armrests. Many gaming chairs have armrests that break easy and consistantly need to be repaired or replaced entirely. The armrests on this chair are fixed in place and can't move (which some may consider a con, but I consider a pro). -Reclining. This chair reclines as much as needed (if you need it to go further, get in a bed). The footrest may be short for taller people, but even if it is, is still comfortable. -Built in cupholder and storage bag. The cupholder in the armrest is a great addition. I haven't used the little storage bag for anything, but it would be great for remotes, controllers, mouses, etc. I think they could take this even further. -Price. This chair is high quality at a great price without many drawbacks. I doubt you could find a better bang for your buck anywhere else. Cons: -Height adjustment. You cannot adjust the height of this chair. This chair is advertised as a "gaming chair," not a "computer chair." This means that if you are planning to use this chair as a desk chair, your desk needs to fit the chair, not the other way around as it usually is. There are some work arounds for it. I have a desk tray that works well for me. But as many others have commented, this is not necessarily a desk chair and your desk may be too tall. Be sure to check the height of your desk to see if this chair is a good fit. If not, and you are unwilling to make any alterations to your desk (or buy a new one for this chair), definitely look elsewhere. -Size. I am 5'8" and average size, and this chair is just a tad small for me. It's a good fit, but if I were any bigger, or taller, I doubt I'd fit well. If you are plus-sized, you won't fit into this chair. If you are 5'8" or above, your feet will hang off when reclined. As said in my pros section, I don't think this is a big issue as it's comfortable regardless. But it is something you should consider when buying this product.

Bought a second one of these chairs for me because we both liked the first one so much. First one was new condition. Second one was clearly a return even though it should have been new, as the plastic packaging the bolts come in was ripped open and some of the bolts were scattered in the box. It’s a big item (hard to return) so we still assembled it and hoped for the best. I think I’ll still keep the second one as it seems fine so far. Luckily no bolts were missing. Overall great chair but it’s always a bit disappointing to receive a used item. I would recommend a lap desk for keyboard and mouse usage as this chair is designed more for console use. I still use it for work and PC gaming though with a lap desk and it’s more comfortable than any other setup I’ve had.

I want to like it but I am 6' add it is small, and leg rest way to short for comfort and leg rest release very hard to put back down, very close to backrest release and hand will hit release. You really have to pull hard to get back down. I now use caution. my friend 62 she can't put it back down

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. This chair is amazing! I’ve had it for 2 weeks, and have used it a ton for CONSOLE gaming. That’s the big thing. Yes it’s too short for computer desks, but it wasn’t designed for that. This is for gaming on PlayStation, Xbox or Nintendo. Strictly consoles. I think that’s where the bad reviews are coming from. I’ve had all day gaming sessions with this and the comfort level has stayed the same. It’s very easy to assemble (15-20 mins) and seems very sturdy. I purchased the gray fabric and I think that is the best way to go as far as comfort. The side pouch is a nice feature, and I love the cup holder! All in all, a great console gaming chair at a fair price.

Think it’s very comfortable fits my little dogs in my lap fits under my desk just fine I did swap out the bottom for wheels no stability issues haven’t fell yet but no it’s great not wobbly or nothing wanted to see what it would be like with wheels and it’s awesome very comfortable as well give it a try worse that can happen is you want to send it back if it’s not to your liking

***Update after having the chair for 2 weeks - This chair is just horrible. The legs are raised at like a 60 degree angle, not 90 degrees or even straight out so you are in a weird position, not reclined and not comfortable. Also the leg is having a really hard time coming up and trying to get it to go back down. It's just not a comfortable chair at all and if it wasn't going to be a massive headache to return I'd get rid of this! NOT WORTH $300! I think that is what makes me the most mad. It's literally $100 tops. Looks nice, but is not really functional for resting, reclining, gaming for long periods of time. Original Review: I’m a little surprised by all the glowing reviews. For this price, I expected much better quality. Honestly, it feels more like a glorified outdoor lawn chair with some padding added. (Not as cushy as patio furniture, but more than a lawn chair) The construction is questionable. The chair just sits on the base, and if you try to move it without care, it can easily separate. The recliner mechanism is controlled by a single bar on the right side, so the entire leg rest relies on that one point of support—which seems like a potential failure spot. Comfort-wise, it’s pretty firm. There’s not a lot of padding, and while I’m only 5'2", my feet still hang off the edge when I recline. The chair hits the back of my ankles, and the included pillow lines up nicely for me. That said, if you're taller, I’m not sure how well this chair would fit you. The seat height is fixed at 18", and while my feet don’t touch the floor when sitting upright (which I’m used to), it’s worth noting that there’s no way to adjust it. The fabric is just OK—neither high-end nor terrible. I do like that the zippers hide the screws on the armrests, but I made the mistake of screwing the fabric in accidentally, and that was a nightmare to fix. The bottom fabric also tends to catch when attaching the seat to the base, making assembly tricky. Speaking of which—putting this thing together by yourself is a headache. The cup holder is a nice touch, though—it fits my 24oz Owala water bottle perfectly. In the end, it’s not an awful chair, but it feels like something that should cost around $100, not over $300. I can't say how well it will hold up over time, but I’m not overly optimistic. The fabric version is a dog hair magnet.

As a person who is 5’9” I can confirm that this chair is indeed designed for the smaller persons of the species. But I’m not letting that stop me. My intended purpose for this chair is working on the computer with a monitor angled a little higher than my head to help with permanent cell phone neck bending. I’m not a gamer of either the computer or controller variety. I was looking for something with elbow support, a stable reclining function, and relatively low height. I got the fabric version of the chair. Bad: no lumbar support, but I just got a pillow. Not a deal breaker; I’ll figure it out. The chair is not terribly easy to put together even though if there was a PhD in flat pack furniture I’d have earned it by now. I strongly recommend hunting down your socket set instead of using the little wrench included—the bolts holding the back to the bottom were very annoying. The instructions could also use a little work—I’m sure the building could be made a little simpler if some of the steps got swapped and the instructions could be clearer. The chair is hot. This is an inescapable reality of non-mesh chairs. In an ideal world this would be more breathable. I’m using a ventilated seat cushion to make it bearable for me—I always get exceedingly hot in office chairs as a rule. Because I added height to the seat with that cushion I needed to add some height to the arm rests to match to get my desired elbow support. The chair is designed for smaller humans. I knew that going in and was okay with it because I have a short torso and like to be low in an office chair but I was still surprised that it seems about the size a small 12 year old would need. Good: Delivered on time is a big box with pretty decent packing. Item is as described. I love that the back is the part with a hydraulic style lever. The reclining angle stability is the best part of this chair. You lean it back where you want it and it stays there unlike normal office chairs. The foot rest part is also great, although my legs dangle off the end and it does not go as high as I would like. The chair is very stable. In an ideal world, I’d like it to have an easier way to move it around, but that’s not a big issue. The swivel part works great. In terms of function, the height doesn’t change. Which is fine with me—it puts me about the right height for a slide out keyboard tray or I can use a lap pillow for a keyboard. But if you’re trying to use the top of a desk, this won’t get you high enough (nor is it advertised that way). Overall, I feel like I got what I ordered and I’m pretty happy with it. But anyone taller than about 5’5” should think hard about whether it fits their needs—for instance, the cup holder falls halfway between my elbow and wrist so it’s not doing cup holding!

Great recliner. Looks good. Built well. Easy to put together. Comfortable. Good value. My son loves it.
