We get raw milk from a local farm and my dad has raved about it since his first sip. Unfortunately, there are no dairy farms around where he lives, so his raw milk indulgence was only possible when he made the long trip to visit us. I finally decided I would start freezing some of the milk before his visits so he could take it back with him to enjoy at home. After several failed attempts to freeze the milk in jars and various containers, I finally landed on these. They are GREAT! Truly freezer safe and the perfect size for thawing a little bit at a time. We bought 4-quart sized containers so he could take an entire gallon home after his visit. He keeps the containers in the freezer and pulls one out at a time to thaw and enjoy. ZERO cracking, nice wide mouth for pouring, can easily be labeled, and dishwasher safe! They are a great thickness - they don't feel thin or cheap. And the lids easily thread on the containers and seal tightly. We are buying more to share milk with friends!

I bought this to see how it would work as a chlorine dispenser for the hot tub as this plastic is rated to withstand high temperatures without breaking down, and, it has a wide mouth for easy insertion of 1"tablets. I drilled the smallest hole possible in the bottom center of the bottle to start with, and filled the 1 quart as full as possible and put it in the hot tub where the return is, out of sight, just floating in that area. So far it's been 1.5 months and the chlorine levels have been perfect, and, there is still about 2/3rds or so remaining. Based on this, looks like it will last about 4 months before needing a refill. For this purpose I highly recommend this container as it's the best, least expensive method I've come up with. BTW, this is a bull frog tub and they charge over $100 for a 4 months supply and need to be changed monthly. Chlorine tabs I bought should last a few years costing maybe $50/yr with refills about 3 times a year. I'll update if anything changes.

Stores unused paint for future touch up work.

It is hard to judge things like "leak-proof," since I just don't turn these over in the freezer until they are frozen. For what I paid for them and for what I wanted them for-to store milk in the freezer for when I couldn't get to the store-they work fine. That's all I ask of them.

Nice plastic jar will withstand at room temperature or in the freezer. Currently, I keep my dry oatmeal in this jar in the freezer. Thus far there are no signs of the plastic being cracked. Useful jar to store anything, not too large and not too small. The plastic is made of moderately thick plastic, it is quite durable. Price is good. FTMaru

The quality of the containers is top notch. They are perfect for storing soap making materials safely. Perfect solution.

I'M RETURING BE THEY ARE TOO NARROW AND TOO EASY TO KNOCK OVER.

Used these while painting and then to store paint. Easier to manage then a paint can.

They are decent, was hoping they were a little bigger.
