It is sugar free as they claim. But they use a sugar alcohol as a sweetener -maltilol. If you are trying to go on a ketogenic or low-carb diet, you shouldstay away from sugar alcohols in general (erythritol, hydrogenated starchhydrolysates, isomalt, lactitol, mannitol, sorbitol, xylitol) because they countas carbs.If you don't mind carbs, this is a great choice for a mid-evening snack.

I usually keep on trying protein bars and thought to try Hyp this time. I like them because you can get your dose of protein and energy when you're on the move.This flavour of Coffee is quite good and refreshing. It isn't that bitter so most of you would like it. In terms of sweetness too this is sugar-free (uses artificial sweetner) and is sweetened to perfection. So perfect for folks who want to keep a tab on their calories.The mouthfeel is smooth as this doesn't have whole nuts or other items. Most of it is in a paste form and hence the mouthfeel is pretty good.Overall I enjoyed this one, full marks for the flavor

The shocko top is tasty,but main feeling is too dry and almost has no taste and flavor,as long as no berries were seen inside.So it goes down good only with some water or tea, coz too too dry. I've tried better.If u accept it not like a food,but some supplement that u have to eat like a medicine than it's ok. But as a snack not tasty.

After browsing protein bars in Amazon for 2 hours, I bought this as it is cheapest per bar. I gotta say I am not dissapointed. The taste is just amazing. Just like a normal chocolatte, I crave for more everytime I eat it. Also the bars are big enough so it is very useful as a quick snack before or after workout to prevent empty stomach. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

I have been eating HYP brand of protein bar for the last 1 month. I have consumed about 25 bars, roughly 1 bar every day, during this time of all the 4 flavours they offer. I must say that initially i found it to be superior than the rival product but now have come to the conclusion that it is not well thought out product. It contains a chemical called polyols that cause gas, farting, bloating and stomach ache. About after 5 minutes of eating the bar there is vomiting sensation (nausea) that last for about 5 hours. After a little googling you can find out that polyols is related to LIVER DAMAGE and is avoided by major confectionery brands throughout the world. It just makes me feel very uncomfortable and gassy. Also I have gained 3 inches on my tummy in the last one month which I attribute to this. I think that manufacturer has not applied his mind very much and has just gone with the Indian way. Initially one may find it better than ritebite, because of its softer core, but soon the reality sets in. I request amazon to verify the health indication of this product as it may also be liable to damages.
