โญโญโญโญโญ Premium quality grit, perfect for drainage and top dressing!
This is exactly what I was looking for to upgrade my potting mixes. If you grow plants that absolutely despise sitting in soggy soil, this horticultural grit is an absolute must-have. The quality is outstanding. It is beautifully graded, perfectly sized, and crucially, it comes remarkably clean with barely any of that annoying fine dust or sludge you often get at the bottom of the bag. It is also completely lime-free, so you don't have to worry about it messing with the pH levels of your prized specimen plants. Iโve been mixing it into my compost for some large, heavy container plants to drastically improve long-term drainage and aeration, and it works brilliantly. It opens up the soil perfectly, allowing water to drain right through the bottom holes so the roots can breathe and stay healthy. It also has a lovely weight to it, which adds great stability to top-heavy pots. On top of that, it makes a fantastic, neat top dressing for the surface of the pots, which not only looks incredibly professional but also helps suppress weeds and keeps the base of the stems from getting waterlogged. A top-tier product for anyone serious about their gardening!

Perfect for indoor use
Smaller bag than I anticipated but good quality and used to dress several house plants after repotting.

Expensive
I was shocked at how small the pack was for ยฃ8.99 (2litres apparently)! I just wanted a bag of horticultural grit to stop slugs. Not what I expected at all

Good for top dressing and mixing
I used this to mix in with cactus compost for extra drainage .I also used to top dress the pots they are in. I have a small cactus display in my green house with rocks and pebbles bought home from holidays. This grit is a nice darkish colour and makes the pots look good as well as preventing the bottom of the cactus touching any damp compost causing possible rot. (although they are not watered often) Obviously this grit can be used for any plants that require good drainage. Also good for surrounding plants with (hostas as an example) to deter slugs and snails. It has a consistency of very fine crushed coal embers. I did not find it dusty. It is quite pricey but goes quite far as a top dressing. I hope you found my review useful.

It's feels like volcanic rock.
Excellent product. Although the bag was smaller than I expected, once opened and held I knew this horticultural clay grit would be of great benefit to some of my water sensitive desert plants and cacti. It's consistency is exactly the same as volcanic rock even though its fired clay. I'll see how my Adenium seedlings adapt to this stuff being used as a drainage medium in the soil. Would buy again definitely.
