The iron is nice and compact the steam output is very good and made ironing a lot quicker with a generous cord length. Very good value for money very pleased with it.

I was genuinely looking forward to receiving this iron and was excited to try it out upon arrival. However, there were a few aspects that did not meet my expectations. Firstly, the product images were somewhat misleading, as they suggested that the power cord could be wrapped around the iron’s base for storage, which is not actually possible. This may be a minor issue for some, but it affects the overall convenience and storage of the device. The iron itself is lightweight, which can be beneficial for ease of handling, but in this case, it also gave the product a somewhat flimsy feel that raised concerns about durability. In terms of performance, the continuous steam function worked effectively and provided consistent output. However, I encountered an issue when using the steam burst feature, instead of delivering a concentrated shot of steam, the iron released a noticeable amount of water, which compromised its intended functionality. Additionally, I observed that condensation from the steam tended to collect around the buttons located on the back of the iron. This raised some safety concerns, as moisture in that area may pose a risk during use. While the iron has some strengths, particularly in its continuous steam capability, I believe there are areas where the design and functionality could be improved to enhance both safety and user experience.

Positive review Title: Powerful steam and quick results I’ve been impressed with the Tefal Express Essential steam generator. The 120 g/min steam output is strong enough to tackle heavy creases, and it heats up quickly so I can start ironing within a couple of minutes. The Xpress Glide soleplate moves smoothly over cotton and linens without snagging, and shirts look crisp with fewer passes. The water tank lasts through a long session, and the controls are simple and intuitive. It’s a bit bulkier than a standard iron, but the performance easily makes up for the extra size. Great value if you want faster ironing and better results.

Nice compact lightweight iron at a decent price but, and a very big but, it is not easy/comfortable to use. Where the steam "tube" enters the iron the entry gooseneck isn't flexible. This means that when you are using the iron it is difficult to hold the handle as the steam tube and entry neck get in the way. On my previous Tefal iron the gooseneck rotated through 90 degrees and out of the way. Not on this one. Hence a poor rating and not a recommended buy.

Broke after a handful of uses. No steam but then shoots out scalding hot water. It’s also heavier than others I’ve used.

This iron is very easy to use and very compact well worth the money

Bought as a replacement for Russell Hobbs steam generator iron and so far it's doing a great job. Not too weighty, glides nicey over clothes, has good steam output, and the reservoir holds a good amount of water so doesn't need to be filled as often. Only gripe is that the cable into the iron itself is in a bad position sticking right out of the handle and gets in the way and rubs against your wrist when ironing. Probably not a massive issue if you're only ironing a few items of clothing occasionally but when doing a full laundry basket or a weeks worth of school uniform in one go it gets annoying really quickly. If the cable was lower down towards the base of the iron then it'd be perfect.
