This book is really masterpiece, no dout. rich with information. Pictures are classic. letters are small. I recommend this book most. Must buy for all interested in Art. Thanks to amazon.

This nearly 800 pages book closely looks at 100 masterpieces, especially the chronological & social background in which they were created. Many of these artworks are well-known & some not so well-known.

Good book. Very small size.Smaller than my hand .For a book on paintings it should be bigger

This is an interesting book including the images of classical art if you are inspired by art. The price is reasonable and it will be a book you can pick up and enjoy for years.

Be warned the print size is small. Fine for short sighted me. Absolutely love this book. I am working through a picture every few nights. I am learning a lot and there is quite a bit to think about with each picture. I keep annoying my wife with new facts and ideas from this book. It is also written in a chatty kind of way which I like.
