Avène Trixéra Plus Selectiose Emollient Balm

Finally got my order and first impression..? The bottle is HUGE! Was not expecting that because I am familiar with Avene products and they are pricey even for a small tube of anything so for $20+ bucks I was expecting a tiny bottle.. And the bottle itself is AWESOME! A really easy, hygienic and practical way to dispense this miracle cream! I have terribly dry skin, lived in UK 25 years, Middle East 24 years and have now lived in Upstate NY 2 years and these climate changes have taken their toll and parched my facial skin completely. To make matters worse I have started sunbed tanning again to get a little colour so you can imagine the mess! lol well zoom forward to last night when my immediately recognisable brown box arrived on the porch and gave me the usual shivers of excitement.. well I ripped that itchy face off with a good lather and readied myself to apply this dream balm, which is really more a cream than balm. Was there really magic in the bottle? HELL YES! I can categorically unequivocally state that this is everything other reviewers say it is! Wow. I cannot believe how good my skin FEELS and LOOKS! Even hubby, who notices nothing except if I forgot the mustard on his hotdog lol, noticed!!! Now this was last night and I woke up this morning and my skin just looks HEALTHY! like normal skin!!!! Wrinkles are softened and I have a great colour. This is HUGE. I struggle every day to get the right balance of moisture for my skin.... I just hope like crazy that this persists and isn't a one night wonder... Will update in about a week. BTW, this goes on quite slick so you think initially it might not become matt but it does, it all sinks in and leaves no residue. Perfect for makeup application. Jeez, I look good this morning and that NEVER happens.. sooooooo very happy, so is my skin!

I Bought this Avene Balm for my husband to calm his freshly shaven facial skin. He loves it and swears by it. He applies it immediately after he shaves and says it soothes and calms his itchy skin. The balm is thick and emollient, and as a plus, is fragrance free. It comes in a 6.76 OZ tube and not in a jar or bottle (which is good because it prevents the ingredients from degrading due to light and/ or air exposure). I've purchased other moisturizers out there for my husband but they were either ineffective or contained too much fragrance. Very pleased with this product...it's a little pricey but worth the money because it serves the purpose. It's not a product that's all "fluffed up" with ridiculous promises to lavishly hydrate skin so it looks younger or anything like that. This balm is plainly used to treat persistently dry skin...and it works. Highly recommend...you will not be disappointed!

This is, without question, the best moisturizer I've found for my baby's (8 mos.) eczema. We tried a lot of baby brands, Aveeno, Earth Mama, Aquafor, coconut and olive oils, and then our dermatologist recommended this. Nothing comes close to how nourishing it is and how quickly it works. I saw a remarkable difference after the first use, and I love how gentle it is. I will be buying it not only for my daughter, but for myself as well!

First time I have used this and I really like it. my skin is Super Dry and Sensitive. This cream does not burn my skin when i use it after retinol cream.

This emollient balm is a true miracle for my daughter's skin. Nothing else has resolved her exzema except this product. It is such a relief! Please note however that the bottle in which it is packaged poses a CHOKING HAZARD TO INFANTS AND SMALL CHILDREN. The top of the pump pops off easily and can quickly be put into a child's mouth. If you use this product on your child, keep the bottle up high in a cabinet where your child cannot reach it. Alternately, purchase this emollient balm in a squeeze tube rather than this pump bottle.

It's pricey for sure. But it's the best body moisturizer I've ever used, and I am a moisturizer maniac, always searching for the holy grail for my extremely dry skin. I have moisturizer at work, in the car, my purse, bathrooms, kitchen, bedside, desk, TV room... everywhere. If I could afford it they would all be this. It's not really a balm, it's a cream. If I use it consistently it gets rid of weird bumps on my elbows and smooths the backs of my legs. Love.

The lotion was just the right consistency for my combination skin; however, I had a terrible reaction and broke out on my face and neck. I ended up using it as body lotion but any time I got a little careless and lotion touch my neck or face, I'd breakout within the day. Great lotion but not for me.

I have been using this product for years and I swear by it. I have extremely dry a sensitive skin and have tried and tested so many creams over the years with very little success until a friend allowed me to try some of hers. I couldn't believe the difference this amazing cream made to my skin. It left it feeling smooth, soft, and moisturizer without being oily. I highly recommend it to anyone who has dry, and sensitive skin

Ich kann dieses Balsam, welches im praktisch hygienischen Spender geliefert wird, wirklich vorbehaltlos empfehlen und kann für extrem sensible, zu Allergien neigender, auch neurodermischen Haut gut verwendet werden. Die Konsistenz ist cremig und geruchlos und ohne Einschränkung verträglich. Auch bei bereits gereizten Hautpartien löst ein Auftragen kein Brennen aus. Meine Gesichtshaut ist nach der Anwendung für ein paar Stunden ohne Spannungsgefühl und weit weniger schuppig. Die Anwendung empfiehlt sich meiner Ansicht nach ausschließlich für extrem trockene, gereizter Haut, die eigentich "gar nichts" verträgt. Tagsüber aufgetragen hinterlässt diese Pflege vorübergehend einen leichten Ölfilm, entsprechend "glänzend" ist das Ergebnis erst einmal und muss entweder zeitig aufgetragen oder aber beim Makeup entsprechend kaschiert werden. Besonders über Nacht kann aber reichhaltig aufgetragen werden, was erfreulicherweise die ganze Nacht kein Spannungsgefühl bzw. Juckreiz mit sich bringt. Meine Haut fühlt sich endlich recht gut versorgt an und reagiert auch nach wochenlanger Anwendung mit keiner allergischen Reaktion. Meine Irritationen werden beruhigt und der Juckreiz gemildert. Laut Hersteller für Gesicht und Körper als unterstützende Pflege bei Neurodermitis. Wie bei allen Avene-Produkten, wirkt das Thermalwasser hautberuhigend, reizlindernd und entzündungshemmend. Ohne Duftstoffe. Ich verwende das Trixera-Balsam vorzugsweise, wegen seiner etwas festeren Konsistenz, für Gesicht und Hals. Die Trixera-Reihe bietet ausserdem eine Creme an, welches für den Körper durch seine etwas leichtere Konsistenz einfacher anwendbar ist, da schneller einziehend. Grundsätzlich sind aber beide Produkte - Balsam oder Creme - ausdrücklich für Gesicht und Körper geeignet. DAs ist wohl eine Frage der persönlichen Vorlieben. Angeboten wird dieses Balsam entweder in der Tube mit 200ml, oder im besonders praktischen Spender mit 400ml. Das Preisniveau ist relativ hoch, jedoch zahlt man als geplagter Mensch gerne etwas mehr, wenn es denn auch hilft. Meine Suche nach einer längerfristig anwendbaren und verträglichen, pflegenden Creme hat damit ein Ende gefunden. Ihre auch? Probieren Sie es aus.

Benutze den Balsam schon seit Jahren fürs Gesicht.Habe noch nichts besseres entdeck und wirklich schon einiges ausprobiert (trockene Haut).Top Produkt geruchsneutral zieht schnell ein fettet nicht.Absolut verdiente 5 Sterne.

Beware that the product pictured is not the product received was not the same as the picture. I was expecting Trixera+ balm as per the picture but received Trixera Nutrition. The consistency of the nutrition cream is not as thick and in my opinion is not as effective at controlling my son’s eczema.
