I had several uses for double sided tape and I really didn't want to get that standard "foam" tape that comes in a roll which never really sticks too great, eventually fails, and is an awful mess to get off both the things you stuck it to. I've used 3M command hooks and their adhesive for those is magical so I looked for similar adhesive that wasn't connected to a hook and found these and they rock!So they're true to size 30mm and with the backing paper they're 1.25mm thick so probably a little over 1mm but it's not the girth of these that sells its how strong they stick! I attached a USB hub to the underside of my desk, an HDMI switch to bare wood, and a plastic bezel phone holder that wasn't sitting properly in my car and they're all holding up perfectly.They included what looked like a pointy guitar pick that I initialy didn't know what it was for but I quickly realized it was to help with getting the backing off of these. Let me tell you bring your A game for patience, the white side backing comes off pretty straight forward but the red side with the 3M logo takes so much effort. I picked with the pick, I picked with my fingernails, eventually I had to get help because it was so sticky. The best way I found to do it is peel the white side off first, stick that to your object and then get to work peeling off the red lable and hope for the best.I need to give honorably mention to the packaging for these dots. They could have come in a ziploc baggy and been fine but this is a finished box with a bold logo design that I appreciate because I'm not using all the dots up in one go and I'm less likely to misplace this box than I would be a small ziploc baggy.Bottom line: If you need to double sided tape something to any number of surfaces these are a great choice to go with!

These are exactly as described and are a powerful and versatile adhesive/putty. I use them for various jobs requiring strong but removeable adhesion around the house. They are a great substitute for museum putty, as they are clear and will keep small items in their place and from being knocked over or pulled over by our rambunctious cats! They're useful in hanging pictures or other items on the wall without leaving a residue as well. I also use them in crafts, especially when making greeting cards or paper projects, to add dimensional stickers. They can easily be cut to whatever size you need. A small pick is included to help separate the the top and bottom to expose the adhesive dot.I use these regularly and they perform great for me. I try to keep some on hand all the time for the "sticky" jobs that come up, and they come up often. I recommend these.

The red tab is a bit tough to come off and you have to sit there and pick a groove until you can take it off. It would have been better if they had cut a tab. I tried to use these to affix my outdoor wall lights to my block wall. They stuck for half the day, then came off. Maybe these are better for smooth surfaces, but they did not work for rougher surfaces.

I bought a necklace holder but it had screws to mount it into the wall. I didn't want to make holes in my wall so I picked up these poster putty mounts. I loved the little tool that was included to make it easy to remove the parts that cover the adhesive (very handy). And once removed, I stuck the necklace holder to the side of my very tall highboy. As the necklaces I make are with gemstone beads and chain, they're not exactly as light as a regular necklace, but they've been on the holder for days and they haven't moved even a millimeter.

This Extra Large Mounting Poster Putty is going to be my go-to for hanging small items on my drywall! I've tried several double-sided tape options, but this one holds items securely without pulling paint off the walls, which is a big win. The clear sticky dots are easy to use and blend well against surfaces, making them perfect for pictures, decor, and crafts.
