This is basically a standard microwave that looks above average, is simple to use, and just works. The two knobs have a good feel to them, as does the door handle. Great for anyone wanting to avoid all that digital faff and complexity, like us folk who nostalgically remember better, simpler times when telephones had dials with 10 options and 10 options only (0 to 9, if you're wondering what I'm on about), and one job to do, and they did it well (most of the time, anyway). Also check the power and size specs carefully before buying to make sure they match your needs... at 700W don't expect it to cook your jacket potato in under 30 seconds, and it's on the small side, so check that your plates would fit comfortably. Noise-wise I'd say it's pretty average. External finish feels a bit less hard-wearing than the standard black or white microwaves I've owned before, but that's only my perception. Style-wise VonShef also do a kettle and toaster to match, with the same (perceived) delicate finish, but they look great together if you're after the cream/wood look (I'd steer clear of the kettle, though, because it's still tasting/smelling plasticky after months of use). Finally, I'd say it's not intended as a family microwave but would do a great job for a single or small household, especially where kitchen space is limited.

Nice looking but not the best of buys. Recommend sticking to named brands Spring went on the kettle lid, which was replaced quickly enough. Toaster works well but the leaver to push down, feels cheap. Microwave works okay, but have to put it on alot longer than a standard microwave due to Wattage
